This company did a good job installing this new unit in my house 3 years ago, although highly priced I thought. Thursday night my AC stopped working. I could hear it trying to kick on but it never did. I shut it off so nothing would get damaged any further. The next morning I called the ABCool office and they sent someone out early that afternoon. The tech was able to diagnose it as the blower motor in the handler inside the garage. He said don't worry about it you're under warranty for 10 years and he took the blower unit out in like 8 minutes.
He goes out to his truck and then knocks on my door and said he called his office and there was an install charge...$560 to install the new one. I was like..."WHAT?!" There is no way I was going to pay ABCool A/C & Heat that kind of money for something so simple....and with a free part no less. Here's the kicker, when I talked to the Owner, Mannie, he said to me "Lady, I can charge you whatever I want". I paid them an $85 standard service charge...and good riddance to them. What a jerk! That guy needs a lesson in customer service.
I called another company to come out (Air 1 of Central Florida) and the owner took my old motor, exchanged it, installed it and all for $150.

Great company to work with in every aspect.  Our AC system broke and due to the age it was not worth the expense to fix.  Mr. Wooten was very knowledgeable and explained our options and what the best fit would be for our house.  We were quoted a very competitive price and they expedited the whole process including the permit as we were without AC.  The installers were respectful, took pride in their work and cleaned up everything.  I would highly recommend ABCool.
