The Cleaning Authority

They cleaned well when they came out in the areas they did clean, however, they nearly doubled the price we had agreed to after cleaning (which had been based on a previous in person estimate from a manager), then abruptly stopped service withour notifying us. The initial clean was supposed to be $400 but increased to $690 after the cleaning had been completed. I was contacted by them before the charge, but after the service was done explaining that this was necessary to pay for the additonal help they had to send to complete the job. After the second cleaning they asked to increase our monthly fee from $250 to $390. I asked if we could instead negotiate reducing the living space cleaned so we could stay in the $250 range. I was first told over the phone that other customers had done that before so it shouldn't be a problem, and that they would call me back after discussing with the owner. I never received a call back. Four weeks later I called to inquire and was told that they had canceled our account, and will refuse to clean further. The noted reason was the condition of the home was not serviceable. Of course I found this offensive because my home is in great condition, and although big, it stays relatively tidy on its own considering the large family that lives in it. Furthermore, we had explained all of our concerns and questions to the manager who gave us the in person estimate and had no issues. I pressed the individual who took my call for why this might have (really) happened (since the noted reason didn't add up), and she informed me that it is really because the teams just didn't want to come out to my house as if they could not handle another large clean on their route at my location. Other issues include arriving late for scheduled cleans (both cleans began at least an hour late) and leaving their clothing behind.

Depends on crew. I can see spots on floor that were not touched. Prices going up and service is mediocre

Average. Service seems to depend on which team they send. Get the right team and things are spotless - just as you'd expect for the premium you pay. Get the wrong team and you find rugs wadded up, pictures taken off the walls and left on beds, sheets not changed, garbage not emptied, broken items, etc.

 I was very satisfied with the deep cleans on the same day.  The cleaners took only 3 or so hours to clean the four rooms that I asked to be cleaned.  The list of what they did is on their web site. I was able to hold a meeting in my home the next day with confidence that my home was properly prepared.

The second clean was not nearly as well done. I took pictures and sent them by email. They took care of it and showed great concern at my dilemma.   Every clean since then and schedule change has been met with great hospitality.

It was initially a little tough to get a hold of someone to schedule a clean, but after the trouble, the owner gave me her personal cell phone number and told me to call her any time, rather than having to go through the national call center. They gave us a great price for the services they provide, and the owner, Denise, is very professional. They have done a great job with the cleans so far! We are currently receiving biweekly service and love coming home to a thoroughly cleaned home!

The team at the Cleaning Authority in Orange Park (Fleming Island) was the best I have ever used.  I moved out of their cleaning area and unfortnately no cleaning service I have used since has even compared to how well they cleaned.  They were very through and left a list of everything they cleaned each time they cleaned.  No cleaning services has done that and I have actually used their list for every cleaning services since as a guideline on what I want cleaned.  I had a wood floor in my house and a dog that would leave drip marks that my previous cleaning lady refused to clean.  The Cleaning Authority not only came in and cleaned it they did a MUCH better job that the cleaning lady that refused to clean.  Also after almost every clean one of the managers/owners came by to inspect the job and ask me how satisfied I was.  I was so impressed and they have set the bar VERY high, so high I have not found anyone who even comes close in 4 years.

The company presented itself very well.  They came to see my home and what I wanted to have done.  There are only two of us and a small hypoallergenic dog living in this house.  We have 4 bedrooms and two baths.  I told them we only lived in part of the house, that 2 of the bedrooms were never lived in and that the third one was a computer room. Also I told them that the second bathroom was never used and only needed dusting and the toilet bowl cleaned. I explained that my little dog did not shed or smell and there would be no hair to worry about.  Also our home has no carpet.  They quoted me a price of $85 for each cleaning minus one of my unused bedrooms. They furnished cleaning supplies except for  laminate floor cleaner, which I wanted something special used on.  I did not want my beds changed or made, my dishwasher filled or emptied or any laundry folded.  Just basic cleaning was all I had in mind.  They really impressed me the first time they came and they did a really good job.  The second time, a different crew came and neither one of them spoke any English (or barely a few words).  I called the company and insisted that at least one member of the team needed to speak English so I could communicate with them.   I found when I called their local number, I got someone at a call center, who would have to  have someone me back.  Also there was a person who would  stop in on a sporadic basis after the cleaning crew had been here to see how they had done.  I never saw this lady but once after the first cleaning and the other times when I  had a complaint about the service.   As time went by, the crew got sloppier in their cleaning and stayed a shorter and shorter amount of time.  I finally told my husband that my hit and miss cleaning was as good as the service they provided and it wasn't going to cost me $170 a month.  I am a picky person, and I expect someone else to clean my home the way I would.  My home is never dirty, more dusty than anything.  I am not able physically to clean the bathroom or run the sweeper. I needed these people to do those things for me that I'm not able to do.  The quality of their work diminished once they got my business. Other than that the girls who cleaned for me were very friendly and personable.

I have the same team all the time. I have a guest house and a main house. They do that in 2.5 hours. They use green cleaning products. It is lot easier for me that I don’t have to clean. 

I am very picky about my bathrooms and kitchen. They do an excellent job on both. Once or twice I have had minor complaints and called the main office, supervisor has had them come back the same day or early the next day to fix the problem. They have many teams that work for them. I think the trick for being happy with this company is to watch and find out which team you like the best and them request that only that team comes to your house. That way you can train to the team to your likes and dislikes. For example, it is very important to me that my house look "pretty" when they leave. If you pick up a sock and dust under it and then put the sock back down, it doesnt' look like you dusted. My team knows now where my hamper is, and if I overlooked a sock when I was picking up before they came, they know where to put it.

I called and they set up appointments to come back and they never showed. After three times finally came and pretty much did the same shallow cleaning. The price was 95.00 after a $25.00 coupon. Would not recommend them if you are wanting deep cleaning.

They were good. I was satisfied with them. They were there when they were supposed to be there. They did a pretty good job. One of their supervisors comes in while they are doing the work to check if they are doing everything that they are supposed to do. It is never exactly what you would have done yourself if you don?t like it. The price was good. This was the original spring type thing to start with. It was $90 because I had a $25 coupon. It will be $75 on a regular basis. I will be using them in the future.
