River City Roofing Corp

In March 2018 we hired River City Roofing for a re-roof. They were quick to offer help initially with dealing with a claim with our insurance company. Everything was fine until we signed their agreement/ contract. Once signed, and they accepted our check for the product upgrade, they cashed the check immediately but were very slow to respond to our inquiries about when work would commence, etc. They didn't even begin the re-roof until June! They always seemed confused, as no one in their office had any definitive answers for us on when the work would begin. The project manager was very rude the ONE TIME he actually talked to us on the telephone. We were left to deal with a woman in the office who had no clue and was a total flake. Once they finally told us they were ready to begin work, we were told to be sure to move our vehicles for the dumpster delivery, and they were wrong on the date of arrival, causing us some inconvenience. We were advised of the date that the materials would be delivered. They were wrong on that date as well. We were then given a date that the re-roof would actually take place. We took off work to be here for that. Again, they were wrong on the date! This caused us a lot of inconvenience. Most importantly, the work was very sloppy and they NEVER FINISHED THE PROJECT. They got adhesive "tar" on our siding that won't come off, and they left dangerous, large nails in our yard. When asked to come back to tidy up, they literally argued with us and finally just refused to show up. They lied more than once. And we are still not done with the project because they never came back! The only thing they were on time with was when they collected payment and cashed our check. They also were flaky on the final bill...they kept invoicing us varying amounts that didn't correlate with our initial payment/ deposit amount. We would never hire them again and we certainly can never recommend them to anyone unless we want to make enemies. River City Roofing was horrible.

It went excellent. They were punctual and neat. There was nothing negative about the experience at all. They did not charge me for the estimate and a lot of the other roofers in my area will charge for such an estimate.

They did exactly what they said they'd do, on the day they said they'd do, for the quoted price. Did an awesome job and they were done in one day. I am very pleased, especially since some of the other roofing companies on Angie's List wouldn't even give me a call back,

I watched the roof going on and it was done in 1 day. Was impressed with the quality of work being done. They had 6 guys doing the roof with 1 cleaning up after them.

They were really quick. They did a great job. They were almost too fast. They kind of attack a project. My neighbor is using them right now because I recommended them. They are really good.

This process was a pleasure from start to finish. The owner, Chad, was pleasant and polite and went above and beyond to please me. He probably wouldn't like me revealing this, because he normally doesn't do it, but he personally painted some of the wood that was replaced. I was concerned because it was in an inaccessible second story area, so he did it as a favor to me. It seems strange to say a roofing job was a pleasure, but with all the horror stories you hear, it was a joy to have someone be honest and thorough. I would highly recommend this company. In fact, the property I used them on was a rental and I definitely will use them for my primary residence when that time comes.

Excellent work at a great price. Worked until dark the first day, then several hours the next day to finish in less than 2 days. Good clean up.

Chad was quick to communicate with me and quick to complete the job. He began work when he said he would.
