He came on time, was pleanant and friendly but got right to work.  he was organized with a printed copy of the list I had sent him of the tasks I needed done.  We reviewed the list and he got to work.  he provided advice on anything I asked, as well as doing the jobs on the list.  In the end, he charged me less than I had thought it would be.  It was a very good experience and I definitely will use him again.

Mike came to the house and gave an estimate, but cautioned that the estimate was based on the damage that was visible.  Until the old shower was removed, he could not say how extensive the repair would be.

I opted to supply the replacement tile, and Mike gave me tips for matching the new tile to the old that would remain.

The work was actually performed by Mark.  Mark arrived at the agreed time, put down paper to protect my carpets, and began the demolition of the old shower.  He carefully removed the old door, saving me the expense of having to buy a new one.

Mark carried the debris out of the house by the bucketful, and put it at the curb in contractor bags for garbage collection.  NOTE:  he kept the bags within the proper weight limit, and I had no trouble on garbage collection day.

After demolition, Mark explained what he found, explained the cause of the leak, showed me the extent of the damage (fortunately, not greater than anticipated), and explained how the repair would proceed.  He then helped me calculate how much tile I would need to buy to finish the job once the new shower pan was installed.

A plumber, provided by Mr. Handyman, did the actual install of the new shower pan.

Mark then installed the new tile, reinstalled the old doors and repaired the drywall near the shower that had been damaged.  While at the house, Mark also took care of a couple of small jobs outside the scope of the original agreement.

The work was done within the time frame estimated, and at the price estimated.  Both Mike and Mark were pleasant and professional.  I would gladly call them again.

I contacted Mr Handyman of Orange Park, located on Kingsley Ave, this morning. I was told that Tracy would be able to get here later this afternoon, around 4:30. At 2 pm I received a phone call, saying that Tracy was on his way from another job site. When he arrived at 2:30, my husband and I showed him the cracked and deteriorating grout in our bathroom shower. He went straight to work, and not only grouted the areas that needed repair, but regrouted the entire shower floor. I was extremely happy about that, because the old grout had been so shallow that the edges of the tiles were uncomfortable under my feet. While he was here, Tracy also gave us a few pointers about fixing a drip from a bathtub faucet, what product would work best for a cleaning dilemma, and suggested an 
 adhesive that would work for attaching a fixture to our shower wall. It's now 4:30, Tracy is long gone, and we are hoping that this will  prove to be a worthwhile investment.

They were punctual, did the job and cleaned up well.

I liked that they were timely and professional. I will call them again and will use them again. I liked them. I did not have any complaints. I would absolutely use their services again.

I found him through the Yellow Pages. He was actually one of the last handymen left. I get personal service from him. He has helped me out quite a bit with a few services. I have been using his services for about two years.

Purchased a new condo for my elderly parent who needed handicap rails to help with balance. Husband thought he would be able to install and he had done ours in our home himself without any problems. Had difficulty locating studs and was getting false readings from our normally reliable stud finder, and the tile we have here was much thicker and somewhat uneven in texture. We would get a reading on the wall side of the shower for a handrail in the commode area, but it did not line up on the shower wall side. Spoke to a couple of tile installers, but was having a hard time finding some willing to even come out and look. Contacted Mr. Handyman with instructions not to send someone who would again just shrug and say, don't think I can do that shower and tub with the soft sandstone tiles. 2 companies had declined the job saying they did not want to be responsible for damaging the tiles and did not think what we had purchased would fit right or did not think they could find studs that would work. Mr. Handyman sent us a tile expert who not only found the studs right away, but was able to explain why we were getting a false reading--due to plumbing cut outs to accommodate pipes and fixtures. He looked at installation a different way and observed and measured how parent gets in/out. He showed us that using two smaller rails we had gotten in addition to a large one would actually work better than one large one when used in conjunction with the shower seat also now being used. Went through same painstaking measurements in bath #2 and rechecked matchup on the outside wall for stud location before drilling. Had to switch out drill bit a couple of times to be sure and not crack the tiles. The result was 2 evenly placed handrails in each of the commode areas and 2 perfect installations of grab bars in each of 2 different shower configurations from a gentleman who genuinely took pride in his work. We could not have been more pleased with the results.

Mr. Hobby has helped me three times with household repairs and home improvement projects.  He does excellent work.  I especially appreciate how he answers my questions and is willing to teach me when I ask how he is doing something.

Sent an e-mail this morning and Mike got right back with me. Was able to schedule my appointment for the same day.  Bob arrived at our agreed upon time.  I am VERY pleased with Bob's professionalism and workmanship.  He took a 12-year-old cabinetry problem and fixed it.  He is courteous, up front & consulted with me about my options prior to doing the repair.   Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The only problem was working against the weather.  !5 minutes after install, it rained cats and dogs.   Bill was easy to work with and followed instructions from manufacturer to the letter.

Almost immediate response, via phone call, from Mr. Handyman after a web-based inquiry. 

Appointment set up for next day.  Bob arrived on time with a call 15 minutes in advance. 

After assessing the issue, Bob gave me some suggestions, which saved me considerable money since I was ready to replace entry door.  I also wanted dryer vent cleared.  Bob estimated 1.5 to 2 hours of labor. 

Bob carefully removed molding, made adjustments, then replaced trim.  He immediately progressed to dryer vent.

Great work by a careful and skilled carpenter.

Will call Mr. Handyman again and insist Bob does the work!

Very well. The job took right at 2 hours as predicted, and we did not feel there was any wasted time. Our installer came prepared with the right tools based on what we told him before his arrival. He knew what he was doing and went about it in a timely, professional and courteous manner. We also used, without problem, a discount coupon offered on Angie's List for $33.00. The savings helped us decide to go ahead and install the 3rd rail in the guest shower while we were at it. 

I called Mr. Handyman and talked to mike about the problem with the door. He came to our house in a timely manner to give us a estimate. He explained everything they would do and the price. We decided to hire Mr. Handyman to do the repair and we are very glad we did. Mike sent Gary out within a day to do the repair. Gary arrived on time and explained everything he would do to fix the door frame. He did a professional job in a timely manner. I would hire Mr. Handyman again..... Thanks Mike and Gary

Called Michael McCalley, the manager of the Orange Park office of MrHandyman of Greater Jacksonville when recommended garage door specialists reported that they would get back to us tomorrow. Mr. McCalley told us that his staff was out on jobs so he would come to do the job himself! He was prompt and efficient. We will use MrHandyman again.

He did a perfect job.I thought the price was not bad at all. I had used him once before on an emergency when my hospital bed motor broke. He came out here and fixed it in 15 minutes, where I had called all over town and could not find anyone affiliated with a hospital or medical store to fix it. They know what they are doing and seem to be able to do anything. They do it right the first time.

We have worked with Mr. Handyman for a long time. He has done plumbing, caulking, removed and replaced large appliances, and a variety of other projects. They are very responsive and have a lot of talent in their work force. The right person comes for whatever job is needed and we have them posted up at our rental home in case we are not available. My husband is a skeptic and he trusts these guys, there is no job too big or too small for them. If you call them in the morning they will be there in the afternoon and will do it all.
