Demo was great---all downhill after that. The installer he had promised was not able to do the job so he sent his nephew and another man. They did not seem to know what they were doing. Porcelain tile installed very uneven, holes in the grout. I have called and left messages for him to check job but he has not been out. I know he knows of my problem because he has his home phone listed on his card and I spoke to him and he said to call his office for a work order. I guess he hasn't been to his office since April 2. Don't use this man for your job he is not honest or trustworthy. He collects his money before you have a chance to check the work out and if you have a problem he ignores your calls. What a disappointment he is.

We hired Mike in late 2013 to install new wood flooring throughout the first floor of our home. I picked a color of wood that I loved and he called a few weeks later and said that the color was not available until months from our deadline on our remodel. I was very disappointed but chose my second option and was ok with that. The installation went fine - I have no problem there. The problem is the customer service followup after the sale. After we moved back in the house we noticed a defective board in the foyer that was very noticeable and were also having some issues with quite a few boards coming unglued and making popping noises. We called Mike and he came out and acknowledged that the board was defective - said he would need to order a new box and would notify us when the box arrived. That was in June of 2014. We have spent the last 8 months trying to get Mike to make good on his work. We have called and talked to numerous different office personnel. They either can't  find our paperwork, say the shipment was lost, promise to get right back with us, so on and so forth. My contractor even called him and he blew him off too. We have been patient since last June. The last straw was when I called in early March and the lady in the office said she would personally handle it and make sure that Mike responded and would call me on the 23rd of March after she had researched it. I called on the 30th and the lady that I had spoken with was no longer with the company and the new person knew nothing about my file. I am beyond tired of this and I would tell anyone to run, run, run away from this company.

Excellent job! Strongly recommend. Hardwood floors in each room look fantastic. Great crew, very professional, and thorough, detail oriented. Quality for a great price. Will absolutely use Mike's Flooring in the future.

Used the wrong drain pan, shower leaked through the floor to the first floor.   Made multiple appointments to review the damage, No call No Show multiple times.  Was extremely rude when he did show up.  Advised us to have a plumber snake the drain to prove the leak had nothing to do with his work.  Once the plumber confirmed Mike's Flooring had used the wrong equipment and his company was  at fault, Mike refused to call us back. After 2 weeks of trying to get a hold of him he finally answered the phone and stated he would NOT fix anything. We had to pay a plumber AND another tile guy to repair all the damage. Out of pocket was an additional $1500.  I would not recommend him to anyone.  Never dealt with anyone so unprofessional and rude.

Mike showed promptly. Gave me an estimate. His guy Jimmy came and performed the removal and installation.  Well, to say Jimmy did the installation is an understatement. The Man is amazing. He is so meticulous its beyond words. Lets just put it this way - My replacement time job is WAY WAY WAY better than the original installation!!  The man should get a prize!!  Needless to say we will most definitely use them again and my best recommendations to the company! 

 From top to bottom - Mike showing up right away, starting the job promptly and Jimmy's Skills were beyond reproach. This small company is an A++ in my books. 

This was very small job, only @60 sq. feet.  Mike came by the same afternoon that I called for a quote.   Since the job was so small Mike told me to go pick up any tile and grout I wanted and he would send one of his men out on Thursday morning to install for $200.00.  He also gave me a little schooling on types of tile, what to buy, and what NOT to buy.  Thursday morning his man showed up (quite the character), went right to work, told me what he was doing and gave me a few tips if I ever wanted to try it myself (not going to happen).  Left mid afternoon and returned Friday morning to grout.  Came back on Monday for final inspect and to get my approval.  I Strongly recommend Mike for you flooring needs.

I had already purchased some specialty laminate flooring.  They gave me a very reasonable price to install it.  Showed up on time, completed the whole house in two days.  I am very pleased with the work done absolutely no issues.  They will have all my future flooring business!  I actually felt obliged to write a review, because I don't typically have this good of luck with contractors so hats off to these guys.

We shopped around for hardwood flooring for about a month before decided on Abbey Carpet and Floor. They were running a promotion for free instillation. Their wood prices were comparable to other vendors in the area, but with free instillation, it ended up being about $3000 less than any other company we looked at. Everyone we worked with were very friendly. They answered all our questions and completed the job in a timely manner. Our house looks great and we are very happy.

Very satisfied with craftsmanship of the job. The owner (Mike) is very helpful and professional.
The craftsman is very good at what he does. His work is beautiful. He worked very hard at achieving a professional look to the stone.
Time management (arrival to site) could be improved.

Mike talked with me and came out almost immediately and gave me an estimate and it was done within two days!!! His installers picked up the carpet from a shipping company, took out three bedrooms , a hall and closets existing carpet and installed our new pad and carpeting. We had purchased and shipped our own product and we ran into a problem with the amount due to the direction of the pattern. The installer did the pad in closet areas and told us how much additional carpet was needed. We shipped it directly to Mike's place and it was installed within a few days with a minimal additional site charge. It was completed with in thirty minutes. Mike Shirley is a real pro and is pleasant, honest , a good businessman and was a true pleasure to work with. I in fact, have already recommended him to a neighbor who is also very pleased with his services. They showed up on time, did wonderful work, were professional and responsible in every phase of the process. A great experience. I will not only use him in the future but definitely recommend him to others.

Wow. What an amazing job. Very professional workmanship. The vinyl floor I put down looks like real wood. I saved over $900 by not going thur Home Depot.  You definitely want to use Mikes Flooring.

Could not have been more pleased with the experience! The owner and staff were friendly and knowledgeable about flooring. There was absolutely no pressure to come to a decision, and we shopped several other showrooms. When it came time to make a decision, we had to move quickly in order to get the job done before Christmas. It was already early December. Abbey promised the job on time, and they delivered! We highly recommend Abbey.

He is very good. He is one of the best working for floors. He did a great job. He had a good team with very good people.
