Contacted Maurice one day and he came to review next day. He provided an in-depth explanation of the process, gave us an estimate of charges and length of time to complete, and told us he could be here within 2 days! SHOCK & AWE!!! He ticked every box with truth, punctuality, and exceptional work with payment only after we reviewed the work and were extremely satisfied. He and his crew were very polite and did the best they could in clean up. NOTE: Following is not a negative statement regarding this company and not something that could have been foreseen before the job started but...because of the size of the area and he was trying to meet our expectations of being out of our home for only 1 day, the clean up wasn't as complete as we would have liked. Everything was covered and cleaned very well except the tile floors. They took extra cleaning the next day but that was negated by the beautiful job they did on the ceilings. And, this may not be an issue for some but for me, the homemaker, the odor was very strong. We spent the night away from home and aired the home out well the next day. But in their defense, I am very sensitive to strong odors of all types. In my opinion, you won't be disappointed. (I am not a relative and I was not compensated for this review.)

Very happy with the painting service Maurice provided us with his company. He was very professional. He oversaw the entire project and made sure we were happy with the painting work. Price was fair as well and the turnaround time from the estimate to the work being done was very fast. We would definitely recommend him to anyone!

We had an excellent experience hiring JD Drywall to smooth the ceilings in our recently purchased condominium that had knockdown texture. The job took several days and Maurice's team arrived every day on time and even worked on Saturday and a Monday holiday to minimize the time we had to be disrupted while the work was being done. We are very pleased with the outcome and the price was fair as well. Would definitely hire this company again!

Contacted Maurice originally about repairing sheetrock and bowed ceiling on pool deck, he arrived gave me an estimate which I thought at the time was a little high. I went ahead and had him do the work. Upon completion I couldn't believe what a great job they did. It was well worth the price. Maurice promised and he delivered. A couple days after they finished the sheetrock I called Maurice and asked if he painted cement pool decks and he told me yes. I asked for an estimate and once again I thought a touch high but agreed after seeing the work he did on the sheetrock. Upon completion I have to admit I was shocked how well it turned out. The job was perfection!!!!! I read all of this companies reviews and I am surprised at the 1 F and all the rest A. I give them and A+.

The owner will tell you what a great job he'll do for you, but he does not deliver it. He was not the cheapest bid by far, but I trusted that he was going to deliver a quality job like he had promised. Installation was horrible, almost every outlet was cut too large or too small. Most of them unable to Cover with a standard size switch plate. Several butt ends were cut with a dermal leaving jagged and uneven edges. When I asked for these things to be repaired, I was yelled at, insulted, and threatened with a lean against my house! The finisher did a great job, especially since he had to put a patch around every electric box. But the painter who was supposed to put the prime coat on left trash, runs, brush marks, and fingerprints in the paint. Again when I asked for it to be repaired I was yelled at and insulted. One seam cracked before the primer was up, the "repair" was another coat of mud instead of tape. Sure enough it crAcked again a few days later. I have called and texted multiple times and I just get sent to voicemail! We spent two days sanding out the brush marks and fingerprints from the primer coat so that it can be painted. Now I'm having to do patches myself on the $3700 drywall job.

Maurice met with me and described what would need to be done for the job. He and his crew showed up on the agreed upon date and time and they went right to work. They were able to finish in two days and the new knock-down ceilings look great. Would definitely recommend them.

JD Drywall and Painting patched a relatively large hole in the interior drywall. Their work was excellent starting with the assessment of how best to accomplish the task in the most efficient way, providing a timeline (that they met), accomplished all tasks and the quality was first rate. It is nice to deal with people who set high standards for themselves and meet them.

I took the time to get various quotes.  My ceiling was older and I could see the tape was coming undone under the
popcorn - that was the main reason I was getting it redone.  I inquired about the process and some companies said
they would remove the popcorn - and would just leave the tape if it looked 'good' - stating the 'mud' would go right over it and it would be fine.
However, JD Drywall and Painting came out - and he said the popcorn needs to come off and then it was necessary
to pull all the tape and redo it - in order for the job to be done right for my ceiling.  He said sometimes the tape could
be left - but really - as bad as mine was he would not leave it.  He stated if you leave it - its likely going to come down
at some point - post completion and that obviously is not good. 
Well, I wanted the job done right.  These guys came in - went to work - non-stop - pulling first the popcorn - then pulling
all the bad tape and joints (almost all of them)  - followed up with smoothing and prep to ensure it was done properly and solid. They were on time each day - punctual and ready to go.  For the size of the job - I was impressed how it was executed.  You can tell
they are experienced and definitely not the first time doing it. 
The texture went up last - and eventually painting.  The price was right - and I am glad to know it was done right and
no shortcuts were taken.  Whats amazing is how clean it all turned out.  That popcorn can make a mess. They get my recommendation - great work.
