"Thank you for your feedback. After discussing the appointment with the Design Consultant, Jennifer, the extended price to the individual was $5,730 not $7,000 as claimed. Jennifer was surprised that an attitude of not wanting to be there was perceived. She thought she had a pleasant connection going with the wife as they were picking colors, looking at full backsplash mosaic upgrades, sinks, faucets, etc..throughout the appointment. If that was not the case, please accept our apologies for any negative attitude you may have sensed. Jennifer has been with GT as a Design Consultant for several years and her customers love her! And, yes, we do offer incentives in the home to prospective customers to business at the initial consultation. We have been doing business that way for many years and don't apologize for it. Companies offer discounts to prospective customers all the time to get them to buy. We have a great product, best warranty in the business and have outstanding employees. We go into every design consultation thinking that everyone should have our product! It's a very irresponsible statement to say a company is a scam because they are offering discounts to earn business. I take offense to that ridiculous comment. I welcome the opportunity to discuss this with the review(s) personally. We have been in business for 11 years, have serviced over 4,500 customers, support our local community and have an exceptional track record of taking care of our customers in an industry, home remodeling, that ranks number 1 consumer complaints. We get dozens of customer surveys back a month of customers that love their new kitchen or bathroom and the service we provided them. Our products and installation process are second to none. We have a top quality engineered stone surface that is non porous and more durable than ordinary granite. The technology behind engineering our product is state of the art and because of it, it's superior in performance to the low grade granite on the market. I trust Angie's List readers are smart enough to discount this post from someone who has NOT done business with us and has chosen to call us a scam without any factual or intelligible justification."
