I marked that I would use them again, however it should be noted that it is grudgingly that I do so and not out of loyalty. I am equally unimpressed with any of the alternatives, so it seems to be the lesser of all evils to just deal with what I have. The initial install at my home is bad. I can't sugar coat it. The cable run itself is sloppy and shows ZERO pride in workmanship. The technician also failed to use existing attic entry points (which would have involved cutting a short section of old cable, removing it then running the new cable thru the existing hole) and instead chose to access the roof via the dormer vent (which subsequently allowed wasps to build a large nest in that area). (F) The service itself is fantastic. I can only recall one loss of service due to weather or equipment failure in the 18 months I've been in my home and that came just last week when my home/yard was struck by lightening. By coincidence or otherwise, the only two devices in the entire home affected were the cable box and cable modem (both had to be replaced). (A-) Customer Service in person (at the College Drive location) is excellent. I was contemplating dropping cable because I did not feel I was watching enough tv to justify the expense and was pleasantly surprised when the agent (manager perhaps?) reviewed my bill and suggested I make a few changes to my plan. I ended up with more channels, better/faster internet AND added a home phone for about $50 a month LESS than what I was paying previously. I give this location an A+ (Yea!!) Customer Service afterhours (1-800-COMCAST) is dismal. The automated system while often a source of frustration does offer several options that may be of use to some customers. The live person on the other hand proved far more frustrating than any automated system could ever aspire to be. I ended up speaking with an afterhours representative twice. The first one was easy to understand, but clearly reading from a script and unwilling/unable to deviate. The second person was nearly impossible to understand and was pushing the boundaries of rudeness. I spent 16 of my 21 years in the Navy living overseas or visiting foreign ports and can easily understand English spoken with a number of accents. This technician was impossible to understand on speaker phone and extremely difficult to understand without. When he had exhausted his checklist, he took my number and said that someone with more experience with my issue would call me back within 24 hours. That was 4 days ago and still no phone call. I give this location an F. Minus. (Boo...)
