Mark has been my family's mechanic for over 10 years.  His skill and experience are unmatched.  But what makes him a valuable professional is his honesty.  He has saved me money more times than I can count by steering me away from expensive repairs that were unneeded and providing the exact service required to keep my vehicles running safely.  On two occasions I had to use another mechanic because Mark was out of town.  One was for the funeral of his father, and the other was when he and his bride were away sharing their new child with family.  On each occasion, the "other" mechanic that was referred by friends recommended work that later had to be redone by Mark.  On one occasion it was because they made a recommendation that did not consider my best interests.  On the other occasion it was because they simply did shoddy work with substandard parts.
Mark always explains in detail what problems he has found, my choices and options for a repair, and the risks and rewards of each choice.  And I know I can trust him to tell me the truth.  He is friendly and courteous, and will continue to be my family's mechanic ad infinitum.
