We chose Alan Taylor after receiving six estimates.  We chose Alan Taylor because of his professionalism and his character.  Alan Taylor is an awesome guy to work with.  He was not the lowest estimate, however if you want quality don't ever base your decision on the price.  Alan and his crew were professional and prompt and completed everything just as he said he would.  From start to finish, Alan personally made sure that everything was completed to exactly what we wanted from the underlayment to the air vents, flashing and shingles.  We would absolutely recommend Alan Taylor to complete your roofing project. He was a pleasure to work with from the moment we met with him to the last day of the project.

I had received three quotes.  One was too expensive and the other two were almost exactly the same.  I decided to go with Alan Taylor not only due to pricing but also due to his character and professionalism.   Well, I made an excellent decision because he did an awesome job!   He called when he said he would call, showed up when he said he'd show up and did the job in 2 days as he said he would (even with the unexpected fascia wood rot that he replaced).   He's crew was polite and worked hard to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.  I would highly recommend him!

Our home needed repairs due to roof leakage. We received several estimates and while Alan Taylor Roofing was not the least expensive (nor the costliest), he seemed most knowledgeable, respectful and patient with our questions. He could not get to our roof right away, but was efficient in scheduling us in within a very reasonable time frame. Mr Taylor had given us quotes on prices for extra wood cost in case there was damage to areas not readily apparent from initial assessment. It did turn out that there was more extensive water damage than first thought but our roof had been leaking for a while. Overall, our experience with our roof replacement was a good one. Mr. Taylor proved to be professional and courteous, competent and trustworthy. We were glad and relieved to have made the right choice on this project.

Alan was very thorough and helpful. As a reside out of state, I had to coordinate the work remotely. He was easy to get hold of and was very helpful in securing the proper permits for this historic home. By all reports, he left the yard in good shape and cleaned up remaining construction materials.
