AARON'S COLD AIR INC

Said I was low on freon, then said copper lines under house had a leak. He wanted to charge $800 to change the lines. It was a bunch of hog wash, he wanted me to buy two rolls of copper since he didn't have any. He was just trying to rip me off. I asked what if I dug it out and you install it. He said that he couldn't do a warranty if I did that.  

I then called someone else out and he said that Aaorns was wrong. He also showed me where the technicians let out my freon. He told me that it would have actually been the copper lines the cost would only be $300 to change not the quoted $800.

Aaron is very pleasant and polite in person and over the phone, but is the most unreliable at returning calls and
following through on appointments made. He is a professional only at giving you excuses and the run around. I paid $415 total in May 2014 for a service call and leak sealant kit (which itself alone I was charged over $262 for) and was told to call in 1 month for a follow up appointment to test and see if i was still leaking coolant. It is now the beginning of August and i have been trying
to reach him for over 2 months to come out and test, and he continuously states he will come by and either does not show or does not return calls when left, hoping i will forget to have him come out. I called him to come for the follow up starting on 07/07/14 and left a message, only for Aaron to call back a few minutes later and say he would have to call me right back to schedule a time to come out, which he never did. I called again on 07/30/2014 but still with no resolution. I called on 08/07/2014 at 12 p.m, he answered and stated he would call back in a few hours after finishing an install he was working on nearby
and come right out. He never called nor showed. I called for the last time on 08/08/2014 and he would not answer his phone, I left a message telling him I needed him to call me that day and give me a time and date he would be by since he never showed or call yesterday. I then filled a report against him with the BBB, as he again never called or showed after this last call. I will never use his company again, nor recommend to anyone I know. If I had researched him before calling him, I would have seen that he had negative reviews online and would not have used him. However, he was suggested to me by a personal friend,
whom also has now had to use a different A/C company due to him not following through with them either. He has changed locations and slight variations in his company name multiple times over the years, now i can see he does this to avoid
bad reviews from following him. His other company aliases are:

Aaron has worked with my for the last 6 years everything from routine maintenance to a complete loss and replacement of a AC Unit. He gets back to you by phone quickly but since he is on his own and a local small business owner your appointment sometimes (and I do mean sometimes as he has had fantastic response times as well) is a day or two away.  He has responded quickly in emergency and I see now that I have been a loyal customer he is very responsive to my needs.  I would recommend him to anyone and suggest you give him a call.
