"Thank you for the kind words and great review. Please let us know if we are ever able to assist you in the future. Have a happy new year!"
"Thank you so much for the kind words. It was a pleasure working with you despite the difficulty of the situation. We would love to help you in the future."
The owner and crew of Tucker's Tree & Bobcat were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered my questions in a friendly manner. My neighbor and I worked together having tree work done but their didn't appear to be any financial advantage for us as we were treated as two separate accounts. They did good work but my neighbor and I both had a few issues.
My first issue was that no one gave me a courtesy call that they were coming, they had called my neighbor but no one called me, they just showed up. It was veteran's day and I had plans to celebrate it but had to scrap those plans.
My neighbor had two requests of Tucker's, one to remove five pieces of cut up half rotten tree trunk from an old tree that had fallen down a long time ago and second to unwrap a steel cable wrapped around a limb about twelve feet above the ground. When Tucker's left these requests were not done, no mention was made of extra cost, they just left with not doing it! The tree trimmer was right in front of the limb with his bucket earlier.
My neighbor had all of his debris cleaned up by Tucker's which was included in his price. To save some money I elected to clean up my own debris as I have a heavy duty chipper and chain saw. I always understood that limbs over a neighbor's yard were his. Tucker's trimmed two of my oak trees with about a third of the limbs falling into my neighbors yard as they were over his property. Tucker's brought a big chipping machine on site to clean up my neighbor's property, the chipper was about twenty feet from the limbs along the property line. Instead of running them through their chipper which would of made short work of most of the limbs, Tucker threw ALL of the limbs and branches over the fence onto my property and also dragged quite a few of them and left them on county property in front of my yard. My impression was that they were "getting me" for planning to clean up my own debris. I could understand that if I was having the work done just myself, but my neighbor and I had hired Tucker's to do our trees at the same time, saving them from making two separate trips. I only used Tucker's because my neighbor had hired them.
The trimmer did a good job of trimming my two trees. My large tree leans slightly in one direction though. I noticed that the trimmer had left a large bare limb sticking out from the tree trunk. I asked him to just cut it off near the tree trunk as that would remove a lot of weight from the leaning direction of the tree. It wouldn't of been a big deal as the limb would of just fallen straight to the ground. The tree trimmer refused saying that it was not in the contract. I have no idea what "contract" he was talking about, certainly nothing was in writing . All he would of had to do was make two extra cuts with his chain saw and he could of even said that will be an extra twenty dollars sir or called Mr. Tucker. Anyway I was not too happy when he REFUSED to do what I asked him to do.
I must state that Tucker's Tree & Bobcat company did the work they said they would do but being very careful not to go beyond that or do any favors for us. They are knowledgeable and friendly folks. They do not appear to be a bad company and have been working in the area over a dozen years. We don't plan to use them again though.

Update 3/26/2015
A representative Of Tucker's Tree Service stopped by last month and asked if there was anything that they could do to make me a happier customer. He offered to cut back the limb that I had complained about at no extra charge. I appreciated the stop by but decided that I could live with the limb as it was. He left and we were on friendly terms.
This morning I talked with my neighbor who also had issues with Tucker's Tree Service. When they had talked to me a month ago they had also talked with him and promised to address his concerns. According to my neighbor they never followed through on their promises to resolve his problems. He said he has called them several times and they never return his calls. If I was looking to hire a tree service company this would be a red flag in my book.
"We at Tucker's tree appreciate yoir review! Thank you"
