This was utterly the worst hack job I have ever seen in my life. After spending numerous hours reviewing all the details of the job prior to start and outlining exactly what it was we wanted done we still had to spend countless hours explaining again and again what was required to meet our satisfaction. It was never done. The quality was horrendous and very poor to say the least. A homeowner could have done better.
To many problems to be listed here but here are a few examples. Base cabinet where not installed per instructions, they where suppose to be install using the provided screws and clamp in the angle brackets and instead they used sheetrock screws through the fiberboard backing. Electrical was not installed to code wiring was run directly through the sheetrock. Transformer for under cabinet light was a total mess and a potential fire hazard, again was not installed into a box. Walls where not primed before painting and the paint pealed off with painter tape. Base cabinet was not properly place under overhead cabinet and when it was moved to proper ne had left a HUGE hole in the wall behind it when they cut the baseboard. Installation of new sheet rock on the outside wall there where areas that had not been sanded or even. The cabinets where installed without having primed or painted any of the walls. The painting that was done was with a dirty roller as there was actually one wall that had what looked like saw dust or dirt on the walls.
And the list goes on an on. We where able to find a different contractor that completed the remodel and went above and beyond on fixing ALL the problems.
