I’ve been dealing with security pro for a few months now and I have nothing but regrets since making that decision. Never have I met such a disingenuous, money hungry company in my life. Technicians work hard and diligently but are led by incompetent, sell serving management. If you’re looking for Band-Aid fixes Security Blow is your team! I wouldn’t recommend them to change a lightbulb..

Security pro was hired to hang three cameras an two radio transmitter for a HOA gate security system. The team arrived on time and were very professional. The equipment being installed was new and provided by the HOA, and Security Pro stated they would not guarantee the equipment. Prior to installation all equipment was bench set up and working as it should. The cameras were attached to the pole along with the transmitting beams and the master NVR recording system installed in local storage shed. Upon powering up the system the tech found that all cameras worked, but one radio beam would not power up. He problem solved this for close to 2 hrs, running new Ethernet lines. He then recommended that both radio transmitting beams be replaced with new units. This was done and new radios were installed at the price of $400 plus taxes. Once up the tech then stated that radios were working but now one of the cameras would not power up. He continued to wast time problem solving unable to get it to work. I asked him what had changed from earlier today and he replied he had just hung it with a new Ethernet line. I then proceeded to take one of the Ethernet cables I had supplied (not made by Security Pro who crimp the ends on their cables), and the camera instantly came up. They stated then that they would just need to aim and focus the cameras. By this time, they had been on property for over 9 hrs just to hang 3 cameras off a single pole and mount a radio transmitter to a storage shed and mount TV to a wall. When they completed the job, the cameras were up and working, but one camera was not focused properly, and they could not figure out how to do it. Later that night I collected the broken radios they said one would not power up and was able to plug both in with my cables and both turned on (once again I believe a cable they prepared was not crimped properly). In all I was billed 10 hours at $125 an hour plus tax ($1331.35), radio beams plus tax ($426.00) and cables screws, silicone and fittings plus tax ($69.23) for a total of 1826.48 total bill. I contacted Camera Pro of Central Florida and spoke with one of the owners about this . I stated that I had been sold unneeded equipment due to faulty workmanship of their tech. Further I felt that if they had made their cables properly, I would have been billed for far less service hours for this job. The owner got very defensive with me and asked me what I wanted. I stated that I would like to be refunded the $426 dollars for the radio beams he sold me. His response was for me to take down the ones his company installed and return them to store if I would like, if he sent his tech’s out he would charge me $125 dollars an hour. He didn’t want to make the situation right and was not willing to take the radios back by the same manufacture we had supplied. In all I regret having done business with this company. They don’t want to take ownership of their faulty work and just wanted to run the bill up sell you equipment you don’t need.

Got a security system from them in our family's vacation home. After not having been there for nearly a year, we finally arrived in February to find the system nonfunctional. Called and after a very brief troubleshooting, they said that the problem is that the equipment is outdated and does not work with the cell towers, and so there had been no security monitoring for 9 1/2 months! They never provided information of the need for an equipment upgrade to avoid interruption of security monitoring, not even when billing for the year of service the month AFTER they stopped providing service! Rather than pay $400 to upgrade, I canceled and went with a reputable company. Security Pro refused to provide a refund for services not provided, because their small print states that it is the customer's responsibility to run tests themselves to ensure that the system is working and monitoring is being provided. When shopping around I asked each company to be sure they did not have a similar requirement of the customer monitoring the security system's functionality, and each company's representative stated that they had never heard of such an absurd concept. Pathetic excuse for a security company.
