ED SENEZ ALUMINUM SPECIALISTS INC

Leaked, windows fogged, no response from company for 3 months, failed to honor warranty and failed to respond to my BBB complaint. Ed Senez did absolutely nothing to further my complaint to manufcturer and never came to my home to inspect and determine the cause of the leaking fogged window and leaking all along the floor where the windows were installed. It has neen almost a year with no resolutiom.

Senez was notified of the problems repeatedly by phone during the month of August 2016. He NEVER returned any calls. No response was received from Senez until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. He then would only respond to the BBB. No part of my complaint has been addressed by Senez, Lansing Building Products (distributor) or Custom Window Solutions. It has been over five months since Senez was notified and nothing has been done to remedy the situation that I am experiencing with the windows. Having paid over $6,000 for windows and installation, I would at least expect the contractor (Senez) to be responsive to my complaint and address the issues as I stated. To date, nothing has been done. I hope this review will allow others to make an appropriate decision, before any contracts are signed. In my experience, the contract warranty does not live up to what was stated.

We used them this year. It was in early June. They were friendly, good and reliable. I was pleased with them. The price was very competitive and fair. I would call them back in the future.

We asked them to repair or replace two bad screen doors on our pool patio.
The estimator stated they could be fixed.
A few days later (after trading a few phone calls), some guys show up. They were nice, but could only repair some screen rips and install our doggie door. (For a fairly high cost). They said the screen doors were not fixable.
They left the doors in partially disassembled state and told us that we could order two new doors for a lower rate. We did order them.
Two weeks later no doors.
We just called them and they said that they forgot to order them and that they would be in soon.
A guy showed up yesterday, looked at the broken doors and left.
Still no repair.
Still no call.
I am waiting for our paid service to be complete and then we will encourage others to not use them.

After getting several estimates we decided to use Senez because of their reputation. They were very punchual and advised us of any minor adjustments that had to be made during the process. All of the workers were very polite.They reassured us that if any problems with the job to call them immediately and they would fix it.

I called and scheduled an appointment to receive an estimate to replace the super gutter between the house and the screen enclosure. They showed up on time and were very pleasant to deal with. I recieved a quote the next day. The quote was very reasonable so I called the office to schedule the install. I received a call from Justin when they were on their way and he arrived as scheduled. The work was completed within the time frame they provided. Their employees are very nice and professional. I was impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism. I would definitely use and recommend them again.

Mr Senez came to evaluate the work himself. The appointment was set up in a professional manner and he arrived on time. I had obtained an estimate from two other companies. He provided alternatives to fix and told me .. "if this was my home, this is what I would do". This kind of recommendation meant much to me coming from a professional with a previous positive review. He suggested just cutting out bad parts of existing sideing and overlaying the existing siding with backing new vinyl siding. This produced a cost estimate lower than others without disrupting or affecting the underlying structure. The work took longer to start the estimated due to excessive rain in the area. I had to call several times to find out when it would start. When the date was finally set, the workers arrived did a professional job, and cleaned up thoroughly. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and price under other alternatives.

The HOA decided to put gutters on all 240 units so we went out for bid in Feb. We decided to invite 3 companies in to do a presentation. After all the companies had presented their proposals it was decided by the Board to contract with Ed Senez. They were not the lowest bidder but we felt comfortable with their knowledge and professionalism.

There were a few minor details that they had to come back and fix but they were very responsive about it. Overall, we did not have any problems. I don’t recall how much we paid them. They came on time and were professional. We will use this company in the future.

Job went great. Very happy with quality of installation and it looks great as well!! Work was done exactly when they said it was to be done. Crew on site was very professional and friendly.

We had used him to build the screened in porch on the back of our house a few years ago and they did such a wonderful job that I called them again. They came on time, worked hard and got the job done right the first time. I was so happy when I got the estimate as it was half the price of everyone else. I was surprised when they gave me a free upgrade on the back porch. They tightened down the base boards and added a thresh hold for us to keep out the bugs. What I really like about this company is they do the work first then send a bill. They do not ask for up front money. They do quality work and it is guaranteed.

THEIR PROFESSIONALISM WAS SUPERB. THEIR WORK WAS PHENOMENAL. THE PRICING WAS AVERAGE. I GIVE THEM A CALL, AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE OUT IN TWO WEEKS. I CALLED THEM A WEEK BEFORE THAT, AND THEY SAID YOU ARE ON THE BOOKS. I ASKED HIM WHAT TIME ON THAT DAY, HE SAID NINE O'CLOCK, AND NEXT WEEK CAME BY AND AT NINE O'CLOCK THEY WERE HERE. THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE WORK WERE PROFESSIONAL. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND DID IT VERY FAST. THE PEOPLE THAT I TALKED WITH WERE GREAT. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND KNEW WHAT THEY HAD TO DO, AND DID IT.

I HAVE KNOWN EDDY FOR THIRTY YEARS. HE HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR TWENTY SIX YEARS. HE IS A GREAT GUY. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK IS TOP LEVEL, SUPERVISORS TRAINED UNDER EDDY, AND THEY IN TURN TRAIN FIFTEEN DIFFERENT CREWS THAT GO OUT. I CALL UP, AND WITHIN AN HOUR I GET A CALL BACK. THEY CALL BACK RIGHT AWAY EITHER FROM A SUPERVISOR OR THEMSELVES. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WAIT TWO OR THREE DAYS.

ON THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT, THE TECHNICIAN WAS LATE AND DID NOT HAVE THE CORRECT MATERIALS. THE SUPERVISOR CAME OUT AND APOLOGIZED. A CORRECTED ORDER WAS MADE. THAT TECHNICIAN DID NOT COME BACK. THE SUPERVISOR DID THE INSTALLATION. ADDITIONAL MATERIALS HAD TO BE ORDERED, WHICH WE WERE NOT CHARGED FOR. WE WERE VERY PLEASED. BASED ON THE REPORTS WE HAD GOTTEN FROM OTHERS AND PHONE CALLS, WE FELT THE PRICE WE WERE CHARGED WAS VERY MUCH A REASONABLE PRICE.
