Coggin Deland Honda

I recently visited the dealership's service department for a simple brake pad replacement. Upon me walking toward my service advisor to pay for the services I received, I noticed an employee taking pictures of my vehicle (360° view of the exterior, my tag, the interior and my Sheriff decal located on my back windshield). I immediately asked him if there was a problem and why was he taking pictures of my vehicle. His responded by asking me if I was the owner of the vehicle. Of course, I replied yes and then he proceeded to "explain" to me that there is a client looking for a vehicle the same year and model as my vehicle. This story he told me could very well be true; however, it's disappointing that he was Coggin Deland Honda's General Manager and that he decided not to receive my consent to capture pictures of my personal property on his personal cell phone. It's the principle of the matter. He apologized but still appeared a bit perplexed and possibly aloof as to why I was upset about him breaking any remaining trust I had with this dealership and how intrusive his actions were. I've never felt so violated and disrespected at a dealership (to this degree) in my life. I'm in the market to explore newer vehicle options which had he simply asked me to take pictures for the reason he gave, I would have been inclined to agree and give my consent. But this wasn't the case. In summary, please be very cautious and aware of the transparency, integrity, and actions of the teammates at Coggin Deland Honda!!!!

Great customer service. Worked with me to get the price I needed. I was amazed! Andrew was our salesman and he was great. Got the car I wanted at a price I could afford. Definitely going there next time I'm in the market.

We've been very pleased once we've brought the van to them. They're courteous, in time and willing to come pick me up. They took care of us to get everything worked on. When we asked for an estimate, they're very prompt about calling my husband and letting us know what's going on. We had them probably three or four times since we bought the vehicle three years ago. They got a new facility and it's not the typical garage thing. They have a second area where they do all the work, you park your car and leave it with them with the key just like the inside of the dealership. It's spotless. There's no oil and grease. The guys were all dressed like just the salespeople selling the cars. They're wearing shirts and khaki pants. They're busy every time I come in but they take care their customers. Their prices are competitive.

They do a great job! They do a great job when it comes to working on my car. Thankfully the Honda I drive doesn't need a lot of work.

I had to have my 1996 Honda Odyssey van towed from very busy I-4, just west of Daytona Beach, to Coggin Honda because my car lost power while driving home from work. The shop had closed by the time I arrived, but Audra Shumate, the Receptionist on duty, and Gary, the Parts Manager, were fantastic! Gary, whose response was above and beyond the call of duty because he was actually on vacation but happened to be in the shop that evening, was very helpful and assured me that he would connect me with one of his service technicians the next morning and that a thorough diagnosis would be done on my van to find out why it lost power on the highway. He was as good as his word. He hooked me and my van up with Jim Abatsas, who got my car into the garage promptly the next morning. Jim and his team quickly located the problem, which was a worn out ignitiion. Jim had to order my part from Alpharetta, GA, which meant I would be without transportation for at least another 24 hours. So, Jim and Coggin arranged for me to have a rental car until the next day (at their expense, not mine), and his team did a total diagnostic exam of my vehicle and washed it for me at no additional charge. They identified a serious oil leak that was leaking onto a heater hose and causing damage. They asked me if I wanted to do the repair now or wait until later. They did not pressure me into making any further repairs. I opted to have the leak fixed along with the ignition repair. Coggin Honda expedited the repairs so that I had my car back by lunchtime.

I tend to be a very skeptical person, especially when it comes to car repairs, because I have dealt with many mechanics who have tried to scare me into making costly repairs that I might have needed, but could not do all at once. I have to say these guys were some of the best I have every worked with. This team was professional, courteous and helpful with everything. I will definitely go back to Coggin Honda for future repairs. I just started working on a master's degree, so my car needs to last me another three years, and I need a team I feel I can trust to keep my car in excellent running condition until I finish my degree and find employment so I can buy a newer Honda.

Jeremy is extremely pleasant and easy to deal with (he gets an A for effort). Ultimately the dealership manager was unable to provide a mutually agreeable deal.

Salesman Jeremy Price was the only salesmen from Honda dealers that gave me the promised "Free Quote" on the Internet. Others gave reasons why I should come to the dealership to get the quote. On arrival, Jeremy had the model and color of the car I specified ready and waiting. Negotiations were fast, honest and pleasant and in a little over an hour I had purchased the car at a price a bit lower than promised. Also received a refund when the tag was some thirty dollars less than anticipated. Only new car dealer I have ever used which I would recommend to a friend.
