I have a five year old Toshiba Satellite laptop with the Windows Vista operating system.  While performing routine file cleanup & procedures to improve system performance a restart was required, but that process could not be completed. Thus the start-up program could not be operated, etc.  I dropped off my laptop on 12/4/2014 asked the firm?s technician to examine my laptop, diagnose the problem(s) and fix it if at all possible.  Then on 12/11/2014 I returned to pick up my machine and found that it could not be repaired. The technician had found the unit would require full format and reload to repair.  The operating system was corrupt beyond repair.  The fixed diagnostic fee of $35 was paid and I took back my laptop.  The company met its responsibility to diagnose the problems and was paid as agreed.  (However, over the Christmas holiday I traveled to Alexandria, VA where I took my laptop to a computer repair shop that specializes in laptop machines. They found that the operating system had not been corrupted and my problem was due to its failure to connect -- through the internet-- with the system?s help desk. Once their technician turned off the internet connection request the system began to operate normally.)

I took my old computer to the store for repairs and after receiving an estimate I determined that it would be cheaper to buy a new computer. The technician tried to get the old machine running again without new parts but his efforts failed. I returned to the store, paid the diagnostic fee and looked at their stock of new computers. The machines in stock were out of my price range so I elected not to purchase there. I was told that if I purchased a machine from another vendor they could transfer the files from the old machine to the new machine and was quoted a fair price. I purchased a new machine and returned to the store for a file transfer. I asked if they could reconfigure the new machine to be more user friendly and the cost involved. The tech stated that he could do the reconfiguration and just include it in the cost of the file transfer. I expected to pay for the extra work but was not charged. It took about 4 hrs. to transfer files and do the reconfiguration . The cost and the time it took to complete the job were very reasonable. The tech made sure that we were comfortable with operating the machine. All of our questions were answered in a courteous and professional manner. I am very pleased with the service and pricing. This is a great company to do business with. I would surely use this company again.

They recommended a replacement computer for my old XP machine. I agreed with their recommendation, and they built it. It is a very fast computer, and does all the things I wanted it to do. I treat BadBoy Computers like a hospital. I wanted my baby born there. They have good tech doctors and ample resources. If I bought it online, then where do I take it when she gets sick?

Everything is good so far; my computer is still working without any hiccups. They were professional. The only thing I didn't like was that they charged extra in order for them to guarantee service in 24 hours. They said they would call after they first looked at the computer, which they did; but said they would call when the computer was finished, but they never did. I had to call to them.
