My 1986 gas oven was no longer coming on.  As I explained, when I called Allen's Appliance Service, I could force it to come on by heating the thermal coupler with a lighter.  The dispatcher told me there was another service call in Port Orange, but the technician could come when that job was complete.  The technician did arrive within a reasonable time and proceeded to get model and description information.  A quick internet search and it was determined that the part was no longer available.  Sorry.  That will be $89.00 service charge.  That's it, there's nothing that can be done?  WOW. 

He did offer to have another technician come out but by the tone of his voice, he didn't sound like it would do any good. No help at all. 

As it turns out, I was able to obtain a replacement part, but I did not call Allen's to install it.

The service from Allen's Appliance was fast.  Mike, the Service Technician, arrived at our home just about two hours after I phoned in for an appointment.  Mike is professional, courteous, and very relaxed to work with.  He explained everything he was doing to analyze the problem with our refrigerator.  He made a decision on what needed repair, gave us the total cost, and let us make the decision on what repairs to do.  We felt he was honest, straightforward and thorough in his evaluation.  Allen's Appliance will have our future business and recommendations to any friend who may need an appliance repair.  Thank you.

I called Allen's on Thursday morning about an issue with my LG washer.  I had already called LG and they were not able to diagnose the problem over the phone and they referred me to a local "LG repairman" whose company seemed sketchy, it wasn't listed anywhere on line or in the phone book and it seemed to be run out of a garage about 30 miles away.  I decided to go with a non "LG trained" repairman and called Allen's based on reviews on this website.  I left a message and my call was returned within 30 minutes.  Walt told me that they do service LG Appliances but when I told him where I lived he said I was outside their service area.  When I asked him if he knew of anyone closer to me that services LG, he said hold on a minute.  When he came back on the line he said he had a slow day lined up and could have someone at my house in a couple of hours.  I was immediately impressed with his willingness to send someone so far.  The tech called when he was on his way and showed up on time.  He took his time diagnosing the issue, calling back to the shop several times.  He finally determined the problem was with the software in the control board, and it would have to be replaced.  He told me they would have to order it but someone could be back on Saturday (two days later) to install it.  On Saturday afternoon a different tech showed up with the control board, installed it and had my washer working like new again in about 15 minutes.  
I am extremely pleased with the professional response, speedy service, quality work, and fair price I received and wouldn't hesitate to call Allen's again for any appliance problem.

Even though he was not able to fix my appliance, he was prompt, personable, honest and straight forward and I appreciate that very much.

Mike arrived when he said he would and diagnosed the problem after a thorough check of the machine. He ordered a part and returned several days later. After installation of the part, he discovered that it did not correct the problem. He did some research on the computer and admitted he misdiagnosed the problem and was ordering the correct part. I was amazed at the honesty and professionalism of Mike and the backing of the Company on the error. I was not charged for the wrong part. Mike returned to install the correct part. He was courteous, prompt and did fix the problem. I recommend Allen's Appliance without hesitation. I will use them if the need arises for another appliance repair.

Great service and they had all necessary items to replace my icemaker. I thought it was a bit pricey, but everything is working great after the service/replacement was performed! Would used them again!
