We bought the house in late 2011 and knew we would be replacing all the windows and the 2 doors the moment we seen the house. We call a few other companies they came out and most of the quotes were well over $ 10,000 on the windows alone. Then we got to united and they gave us a quote of $ 8000 on the windows. After deciding to go with united they ask for an initial $ 4000 deposit to start placing the order for the windows. Which we agreed would be 7/16. The problems started right away, which should have been a red flag. It took two months for the windows to arrive. Once they arrived it took another two weeks to get the workers to come do the installation. The trust worthiness of some of the workers was very questionable. Once the work started we noticed the Manufactures sticker on the window stated a thickness of 5/16 not the stated 7/16. We brought this up to the owner Libby and he came up with some cockamamie story. We contacted the manufacture and they confirmed our concerns by letting us know that the window we have only come in the 5/16 size. Once again we stated this to the owner Libby and he gave me another idiotic story. By this time we were well into installing the windows and doors so I decided to just get the project over with and be done with this company. which took us another 2 months since they forgot to order one windows and had to order it and return to install it. Not only did we not get thickness of the windows we expected, the work on the doors leave little to be desired. Needless to say we will not be using them ever again and my suggestion is that anyone thinking of using them should do the same.

I THOUGHT THIS COMPANY WAS GOOD AND THEIR WORKERS, VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE WINDOWS TURNED OUT EXCELLENT AND WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM.

I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD ORDERED METAL DOORS AND WHEN THEY SHOWED THEY PUT ON WOODEN DOORS. WHEN I CONFRONTED THEM ABOUT IT THEY SAID THAT I HAD ORDERED WOODEN DOORS.

I HAD THEM JUST DO THE TWO BIG WINDOWS FIRST AND NOW THAT THEY ARE DONE I'M DEFINITELY GOING TO HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR THE REST. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB AND FOR A GOOD PRICE.
