I provided Larry with the detailed floor plans and asked him to install new electrical sockets in specific locations, install new recessed lighting, move an existing light fixture to a different location, run new wires on their own fuse for new appliances (fridge, over the range microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposable), run wires for under cabinet lighting, install plug in living room for tvb to be hung, install plug for tv to be hung in office, move light switch to accommodate cabinets, install a box for a fan, frame in and plaster 2 existing windows (on both sides of wall), repair plaster ceiling, re-finish and texture the ceiling in the living room, kitchen and hall way. Damage: New fridge- multiple dents on the freezer door, top of fridge is splattered with cement from the ceiling texture, scratches on the upper left door from them trying to wipe cement off. Microwave socket- not grounded, not screwed/nailed into stud just surrounded by foam, not in correct location (off by 2ft.) Socket to the left of the stove- not grounded, incorrect location (off by about a foot) which interfered with cabinet placement. Two sockets to the left of the sink- not grounded, not GFR which is required. Socket to the right of the sink- One is GFR but not grounded, the other is not GFR but is grounded. Light switch for recessed lighting- both switches do not work and lights stopped working. Wiring- used incorrect wiring which would have caused the wires to fry and catch fire in walls before fuse box turned off. As per second look electrician. (Used 14.2 wires ran to a 20 amp rather then 15) Light switch relocation- moved light switch to the correct location but did not patch up wall placed a flat plate over it, this interfered with cabinet install. Socket- five sockets ran on one fuse. Appliances- appliances were not given individual lines to the fuse box, which is required. Foam used/no electrical box- it was found that one plug had no housing was held in place by foam, wires were being held in place by foam. Per second look electrician this foam is highly flammable. When Larry was called he got very defensive of his work became, aggressive and tried to please blame on homeowners stating that grounding the outlets was not necessary. Once we had these problems we looked him up and per the FL contractors license dept he has an expired license since 2019.
