I have been a customer with a maintenance plan on my 2 1/2 ton Bryant Air conditioner for approximately 4 years. Their field supervisor, Shawn, recently Serviced my nearly 11 year old unit today. (He has been my yearly serviceman). Apparently my unusually high water bill was due to a coil leak and other issues. Shawn, patiently explained my options, costs, recommendations. Shawn worked diligently to get me exactly what I was comfortable financing; a new unit and in his words, “Now I have 10 years of peace of mind, stress free”. This company has been in business 34 years and does not subcontract; all service people are employed by Superior. That offers me more peace of mind when my unit is installed tomorrow. The Technicians arrived nice and early, starting immediately. They were quick and efficient and courteous as well, it was all done in four hours. The tech was very knowledgeable explaining to me the operation of my new unit. this is the first time we used Superior Heating & Cooling Management I am very pleased. We love our new unit. Have used SH &C for years for service calls and recently a new unit. I will not use them again. One, they are too busy to service in one trip. After 7 days without air and temperatures in the 90s, it was finally working with one more trip to replace 2 warranted motors. The technician promised there would be no charges because of the circumstances. When the motors came a different tech came out and had to charge me because he was not told of the offer. I paid because I had nothing in writing. Not paying on principal would only lead to a mechanics lien. You may get good service or you may get ripped off. You can also play roulette.

Everything went fine & very professional. Jim has been my technition for several years, and quite frankly I would never ask for anyone else. Jim is excellent at his job, being polite and informative if I need further info on anything. He is very knowlegable, has always done a very good job, with prices that are reasonable. He explained the work of an Air Purifier, showed me a short TV of how it operated when added to the AC unit. By evening I noticed a difference in the air in my home. He did not pressure me, but when shown the mold in the unit, I felt I would be better off with the purifier. Jim is also very punctual & calls prior to his arrival. You have a very superior (pun) tech, so I hope he is with your company as long as I need an AC tech.

They sold us an oversized system, said it would be more efficient and lower our power bills. After 26 or more service visits within the first few months of having the new system they had to replace all our duct work because THEY did not do their due diligence on tests (per their recorded messsge when you call their office) to realize our old duct work wasn’t capable of managing the air flow from the oversized system they sold us. Almost 2 years later and thousands of dollars in power bill overages we finally found an actual HVAC company who knows what they are doing. In 1 day our power usage has dropped by over half with the new system and every room in our house is cool and comfortable. Do not trust Superior, all they want is a quick in and out and will not take responsibility when they screw up the job. All we got was a refund for the AC unit itself but they left us to pay for all new ductwork and power bill overages and we had to report them to Pinellas County to get them to do that. Also beware they skirt the system and don’t pull permits, so if your house burns down while they are replacing your unit you are liable not them.

It worked out really good and they have been wonderful. When I call them they come out immediately, very polite, explain everything thoroughly. I had lightening hit my unit twice and they fixed it with no problem.

It is an annual contract and I keep renewing so the price is okay. They usually send one person sometimes two. It takes about 30 minutes. They leave the area extraordinarily clean. They are a good, solid company.

There was water all over our floor because the air conditioner had frozen up and it came through the ceiling. They came out on the weekend to fix it.

They clean stuff out, and we have had a contract for three years for about $1300.00. They have always been good. There price is fine. They come out on the weekend if you are part of their plan.

I have a contract with them, and I have been quite satisfied. They are not cheap. All they have done so far is services. I haven't had them do any repairs yet. We are going to keep on with them.
