Not well. Matt, the technician left me a bill for $85.00 for doing absolutely nothing to my property. I called the office to complain and they did not seem to care. I asked for an adjusted bill, but they keep mailing a bill for $85.00. I am going to call eight on my side to see if they can resolve this issue.
The weed treatments they applied were not worth the money. I don't think the number of weeds diminished in my lawn at all during the time of service.
One of the biggest issues is I had them set up on an automatic payment each month on the online banking. Unfortuneatle, I did not cancel the payment when i cancelled service. So I have a $280 credit to my name. I simple called and they saw the balance and said they would refund the money. All is good right? That was back at the end of March 2014 - This is nearing the end of June and still waiting on the refund. I have called a few other times and the company says they will contact accounting and see if they can speed it along. To date nothing has helped and seem to be getting a run around.
simply put - lawn care companies are a dime a dozen. I would look elsewhere if you are in need of service.
I would definitely not recommend this company.
One of the lawns was a new Saint Augustine lawn. It ended up with weeds and pest patches. Not what I would expect starting new service on a clean lawn!
My other property was an established lawn, honestly fraught with issues. After 8 months of service, the yard looked even worse with weeds. On this property we had them do fungus treatment on the bushes/landscape. Again, no satisfactory results.
I know that our neighbor used them for approximately the same amount of time and they hired someone else because their lawn was not satisfactory as well.
As far as billing, I was told treatments would be every 6 - 8 weeks. Next thing I know they are "treating" my yard every 4 weeks. When I finally called to cancel service I asked for a final total. I issued a check for the total due. Only to continue receiving a bill for a balance due. I cannot for the life of me figure out how I could have a balance when I had "PAID MY ACCOUNT" in full. In addition, the times when I had called on my account I always received an answering machine. Of the 4 calls I made to the machine only 3 were returned.
Several neighbors were using their service. The interesting thing about the service is, on the early mornings, 8:30 AM, that they supposedly serviced our yards (evidenced by the yard plaque), in 8 months, I NEVER saw a Southern Green truck in our community.
Also last week we had a sales person from this company come by the house trying to sell us this service (which we're already paying from by the way) stating that "our lawn looks really bad and could fix it" What a joke !
