SOUTHERN CLOSET SYSTEMS INC

We called Southern Closet Systems, after learning from the prior owner that they did the install. They just asked me to send a picture, which I sent and they confirmed it was their product. I asked for a technician to do a repair. Much to my surprise they dispatched the technician within an hour and he arrived to assess the situation. Joe did a phenomenal job of repairing the situation and secured it so well that I could probably stand on it! All this for $95 with craftsmanship and attention to detail rarely seen. I could not give Southern Closet Systems a higher recommendation and I complement them for standing behind their product and their work. 5 stars plus rating!

Not well. I've reviewed this provider twice before, and this was our third project together. I've always overlooked the disorganized scheduling issues... people just showing up out of the blue to work on the installations without calling ahead. It's annoying, but I'm always happy when anyone shows up to work on our home, even if it is unexpected. What disturbs me is that we went through several design schematics and meetings on site and by phone, and I failed to catch a mistake the designer made in the plans. She did not position the doors as we agreed upon during our onsite meeting, and I failed to catch her mistake on the 8.5" x 11" pdf that was sent to me. Granted, it was my mistake to have missed her error, but I had hoped we could work together to fix the problem. After spending roughly $40,000 with this company on several projects, all they did was say they would correct the problem at my expense to the tune of more than $800. Had the company been willing to meet me half-way and accept some responsibility for her error, I would have given them another A review. As it is, I will not call them again.

This is the second time I've had the opportunity to work with Susan at Southern Closet Systems, and once again she did a wonderful job for us. Both of our "his-and-hers" walk-in closets look fabulous now, and I'm impressed by how quickly she was able to go from our first consultation to fabrication to installation.  Her team worked hard to ensure everything was properly installed, and they were all very professional and respectful of our home throughout the process.

The product itself is well done and so far, functions well. The installers were quite good -didn't scratch up the freshly painted walls too much and cleaned up their mess when done. The designer was really the main issue. Part of her design did not work at all and had to be re-done after installed, and she never apologized for her error. She was also late for the first appt. and generally did not instill a sense of confidence that she knew what she was doing. Overall it's a good product, but I think you are subject to whoever you get as your designer. I would use them again, but would request a different designer.

They are very good and very professional. The design they gave me was different then what other gave and there designwas way more impressive.

Great company and great work.

We had an excellent experience working with Southern Closet Systems.  We met with and received estimates from three different closet companies but Southern Closets impressed us the most.  We worked directly with Wayne, the owner.  He was punctual, listened to our needs and met with us three times to make sure the design was just right.  Wayne is thorough, precise and creative.  He provided excellent recommendations about things we hadn't even considered.  The installation was seamless and we are very happy with the high quality of the product.  Our closets are beautiful!  Now, everything has it's place and is wonderfully organized.  We highly recommend Wayne and Southern Closet Systems and we'd definitely use them again.

The installation crew came on time and completed the project in one day. They were courteous and neat and we are very pleased with the results.
