We interviewed three companies, something that I strongly encourage others to do. Absolute, which is highly regarded in Angie's List, did an in-home measurement and estimate (done by the co-owner). The company advised the work could be completed in one day or less. We visited their facility to choose from a good assortment of counter surfaces. On the installation date, the owner and his son did the work, keeping the area relatively clean. We are SO impressed with company, their very fair business practices, and their addressing all commitments made.

During our initial visit to their shop, Ross spent a lot of time with us reviewing the pros and cons of various materials and took us on a tour of their back room to show us how the slabs are milled. He was very patient in answering all our questions. We later made an appointment for measurements for 9am, but there was a small mix up in their scheduling. They did, however, arrive that day to complete the measurements and make suggestions. Jose, who does the milling, is very customer focused. He took a picture of the island piece for our kitchen with the template attached and sent it to us so we could discuss two options for where he could seam the piece, as the dimensions of the island where greater than a single slab. We were impressed he gave us the opportunity to have input. We did have a concern during the counter installation which Jose took care of immediately. They did a professional installation of the counters and backsplash and cleaned up thoroughly. This company is thorough in completing the installation. For instance, instead of just gluing the sink in, they built a frame for it to rest in as well to prevent problems down the road. Ross and Jose make a good team and are pleasant contractors to have in your house (they also loved our dog). If the need arose, we would call on them again.

Excellent. Love, love, love Ross. Don't even think about it, hire him. I was taken for $2400 by another contractor that I obtained a judgment against that I could not collect for granite countertops that were never installed. It was a nightmare. Then I found Ross at Absolute. He was an answer to a prayer. Not only did he help me with my selections, he went beyond and added a decorative design to match the architecture of the room. He was professional, prompt, courteous and talented. If I could give him a higher grade than A I would!!

Ross did a wonderful job. The countertops are beautiful. I like quartz better than granite. You don't have to seal it, and it looks wonderful. Indestructible. That's what I need in a bathroom. The vessel sinks fit perfect. The backsplash is perfect. He fit everything around my sinks and faucets. No worries.

Found Absolute Countertops on Angie's List and when I talked with Ross on the phone I could tell how experienced he was. He was able to get the quartz countertop I wanted in the 3cm size, when everyone said it only came in 2 cm. He also saved me money by getting a remnant for my new bathroom vanity and even installed the vanity and plumbing. The other four companies that I had bid did not include the plumbing in their price and said I had to hire my own plumber. I didn't want to go through the hassle and Absolute Countertops included it at a reasonable price. I wanted to extend my countertop and Ross made recommendations to extend without getting in the way of the walkway area. It turned out better than I expected.

Ross came out for the measurements, discussed edge choices, took the order, and came back within the week with the countertops. The quartz looks like granite. Everyone that comes in my kitchen thinks it is granite and I don't have the problems that granite has...stains, sealing, etc. Beautiful. Tough. Way better than the previous Formica.
