Bill has been very responsive through this entire process, being flexible with me on payment terms, and was very honest about his opinions when he gave me recommendations for equipment in my home. Having shopped for other quotes, I chose Bill because he gave me a fair price and didn't want to over- or under-rate the tonnage for my home. My wife supervised the installation. The technicians who came to install the unit were very professional, kept the area very clean, and even offered to help re-organize the appliances in my laundry room where the air handler was located (it's a tight squeeze in my home). We chose a system with an electronic air cleaner on his recommendation for how well they help with allergies, and it's worked great ever since! Having 3 cats and 2 dogs in the house is not easy on air filters, and ours is standing up very well so far. I am impressed with Bill's operations (he runs his company on only a few, dedicated employees), his up-front pricing and explanations of things, and his willingness to talk about his opinion. He has also offered to service my a/c throughout it's life. It's nice to hear that he's willing to service what he installs.

I no longer use them and spent about $150 on that service. I wasn?t real pleased with them over a long period. The men were pleasant at work, but I think they tried to sell me things that were not needed and wanted to replace our air-conditioner when it wasn?t broken. I was just not happy with some of their recommendations. The work they did I think was okay but I decided not to go through with them. They did not always call me. They were supposed to call to make an appointment to check the air conditioning every year and they did not always call me, probably because I was not very happy with them. I thought they were expensive for what they did.

I got a fair deal from an honest guy. I knew a bit about AC units and told him coming in that there was a leak in the system. Bill (sole proprietor) came out and after checking out the electrical system confirmed it was a coolant leak. He tried to find the source but his meter was broken. He returned a day or two later and confirmed it was the evaporator coil. Working with carrier was a royal pain, but eventually they confirmed the coil was under warranty. Bill replaced the coil, drew a vacuum, and charged the system. I was there for the entire procedure. I found Bill to be patient and knowledgeable, willing to explain the steps he was taking and why. (This can be a pain for most service folks, but I really appreciated him for doing this.) Bill charged me $75 bucks more than his quote but he spent more time with me and also checked out the charge on my two other AC units.

The technician gently suggested that we could probably unplug the line ourselves. I politely insisted we had to have a service call. He did come out that same day which also happened to be a Saturday. He knew exactly how to remedy the situation and reported the unit freon was also just at borderline level. I approved adding more of that as well.

Great! Philip was polite and articulate in helping me to understand what he'd done and how the new thermostat worked. I did have to repair the wall, which was minor as the new thermostat didn't fit the holes of the previous one.
