Very stressful. We had to watch, take pictures, and detail every step of the job.
We were made to feel like we were simply in their face all the time and they didn't appreciate it.
One contractor walked off the job because we ate lunch in an area inside the house where his work was visible to us. We never said anything to him, he just refused to be looked at.
They didn't do the steps we paid for on the work order and left many things in a and quot;good enoughand quot; way still calling the job complete.
We had to have them back several times and even they though adjusted the bill, we still don't have confidence that the room will last.
Several of the workers even implied that they were being taken advantage of since the manager adjusted the price of the job and they felt that that should have silenced our complaints.
We just don't feel that money equates to good construction.

No response (contact)t from vendor so nothing was done.

We were initially advised by a neighbor to avoid White Aluminum as the people that owned their house before our friend used them to put up a roof similar to the one we wanted and it leaks. I learned about this after we'd already made an appointment for a salesman to come out to gives us an estimate for the job. After the salesman (Mark) arrived I immediated mentioned to him that while we were interested in a 12 X 28 covered patio, we had a friend that just had purchased a home that has some construction done in it by White Aluminum that the new buyer felt was not up to the quality it should be. He took our friends name and number and called them and made an appointment to look at the work on their home in a day or two. Back to our story: Mark returned with numbers that were almost satisfactory to us and we were able to reach an agreement and everything was installed almost perfectly. We had had a channel put in one of the sections of the new roof so we could hang a fan at a later date as the as the roof sections by themselves are not intended to be able to hold the weight of a fan. Only problem was about a week after installation, we discovered the roof panel with the channel for the fan in it was off one section from the center. Trying to get White Aluminum to call us back about this issue has proven to be impossible. I know, I should have written this into the contract, but didn't think of it at the time. But that's no reason for WA not to call us back. They have gotten two other covered patio jobs form our recommendations. But not any more. While they stood behind their work on our friends house even tho it belonged to someone else at the time, it is my understanding they have changed their upper management. And that sure appears to be the case. No more good recommendations for White Aluminum. They stink!

It went well. They kept us informed as to delivery date, The product was wonderful. It made the patio look brand new. It was an terrific experience, they exceeded my expectations

I stopped into the show room back in April 2014 and talked to the person
at the counter about a Birdcage/Screen-room. I was told someone would
call me within a day. No call and I waited for 2 weeks . So I call the show room and they
promised someone would call. They did and we scheduled an appointment
for 10 days out. I made arrangements to be home for the appt. Well today is the day and guess what? They did show
up however I was in the back yard, where the work was to be done,
mowing. The rep must have just pulled into the driveway, knocked on the
front door and left!! I called him and he was belligerent!! Telling
me he was at the house but I wasn't and that he left a tag hanging on
the garage door!! There was no way for him to come back since he had
already left for his next appointment. This was 15 minutes into our
scheduled time. I then proceed to get the tag off the door and guess
what? More rudeness on the back in the form of a personal letter to
me....it read and quot;if you didn't want your appt between 10:30 -11:30 ( by
the way I called him at 10:47) on 28th we could have scheduled a
different dayand quot; If this is the way they treat prospective customers I
would hate to see how they treat you AFTER the sale!!

The initial contact was professional and the work was completed as described and on time. The cost was reasonable.

I wanted a 10 X 12 screened room attached to our home. I thought the company was a good one.
We signed a contract June 12, 2013. I called with approval from our and quot;homeowner's associationand quot; the week of June 16. The contract stated work would start 3 or 4 weeks after. We asked that the work be started around July 15.
Then nothing! I called and called. I called the salesman and project manager. No one came out to measure. Phone calls were not returned. I even called the Branch Manager, who said he would call back by close of business that day....he didn't!
Finally I was told the cement would be poured on August 5th and work on the building would begin Aug 8 at 9:30 AM.
Aug 8, workers showed up at 10:40 AM. The leader of the work team was initially rude. And we found out someone had changed information on the contract after it was signed.
Aug 9, screen room was finished. It looks good, but the doors drag on the cement floor. I won't call them to fix it, I'll just live with it. My husband call the White Aluminum office on the day the project was completed with the final payment. We received a paper from the workman stating the and quot;warranty information will be sent to you upon final payment.and quot;
Aug 17, we received receipt of final payment, but no warranty information.
Again phone call with no one returning the calls. We got the and quot;warranty informationand quot; on Aug 29th.
I mailed a letter to the CEO of White Aluminum on Aug 29, 2013 to let him know how disappointed I was in the responsiveness of his firm, but as of Sept 17 he has not replied. I guess not replying to customers starts at the topand quot;
I would not recommend anyone to use White Aluminum. Staff members changed the contract after it was signed. The company does not care about customers. Not one staff member returned my calls when they said they would. Staff members are rude.
