Superior Air Conditioning & Heating

The first time I called him for service work he came out to fix the wires to the unit.  I paid him and job was completed. The next time I called him to repair the duct work because I was not getting air flow in all the rooms.  He said I needed to call the Duct Doctors to come and clean out all of the ducts because a critter had got under there which was $350.00.  He replaced the air duct return. He was suppose to check all of the ducts, instead he called me and said he came and looked at it but did not have enough staff to do the work so I would need to hire someone else to do it. So one year later I get a bill for a half completed job which I did not pay a year later. I explained he was willing to take the $6000.00 upfront but he does not want to do the service maintainance.  He wants me to hire out but would like for me to pay him for the larger jobs.

The A/C unit had a manufacturer's defect. He came out twice and replaced parts. By the end of the second trip it was purring like a kitten.
I won't use any other A/C company as long as Ken stays in business.

I had used this guy last time to recharge my AC and he did a great job. This time he sucked. Not only did he charge me twice as much for everything he put this dye into my AC unit to see if he could detect where it was leaking from and then told his employee (right in front of me) to let it run for a couple of days and to be sure to come back and check where the leak is. Then they all go and no one ever calls about coming over to check for the leak. So I call him and his wife tells me he has no intention of coming back over unless I need my AC charged again. So he won't send his employee out to check for the leak until I'm in the position to be paying him the new, higher price that he charges for charging... again. Kind of a swindle.

Overall a very nice guy who did a very nice job for not much money. He didn't find the slow leak in our AC but no one else has either and he took the extra time to wash out the housing for the outdoor AC fan and to do a more thorough search for the leak than anyone else has. He told me they had a $100 stop leak thing they could have used to plug the leak but also suggested that if it only needs to be charged once a year it may be more cost effective just to have that done, he didn't push me to buy it. They also only charged 25$ a pound for coolant, I've paid more in the past.
