The roof took about four to five days to complete after several months of waiting for a permit. I was not in a rush to get it done. We agreed on a price and the work was done well. I was surprised to get a second bill for $750 for additional work. The contract says any changes to the proposal would require a "change order" and I was not contacted by phone to advise me of any finds on the roof that would require the bill to be increased. I feel the work was done well and the roof looks good, but I don't like surprises and in this economy that's a substantial increase in negotiated and agreed to cost.
