Bathroom remodel

The flooring material was not easy to work with. A previously hired contractor installed part of it and did it wrong. Mike came over, gave an estimate, allowed me to discuss my concerns about the project. He gave me a reasonable price on the install. Showed up on the day agreed upon, was even early! Completed the job in a few hours and it looks great! Cleaned up his work area when he was done. He's also a pleasant person to work with. I will be hiring him again to complete flooring in the remainder of my home.

We hired Mike over 4 other contractors who contacted us to give estimates. From the very beginning of the process he was professional, thorough and helpful. He and his 2 workers removed the tub in our master bath, cut the water lines below the foundation, concreted the hole, put in drywall and baseboards where the tub was and painted. They removed all the ceramic tile from the master bath, foyer, master walk-in closet, plus the carpet from the master bedroom. They re-caulked the shower, plus removed and re-painted the baseboards. Then they installed 8 x 47 wood-grained ceramic tile throughout, after putting down Mapeguard2 underlayment. Mike replaced a broken flange he found after removing the toilet. The job took from Monday at 8:30 am to Friday at 6 pm. These guys worked long days and took very few breaks.. All 3 were courteous, precise and diligent and under Mike's leadership they completed the work when he said they would and the finished product is beautiful. I highly recommend Southern Tongue & Groove and Mike Gonzalez to any and all who need quality work done at a reasonable price.
