 + -1 moreI could not get any electrical/plumbing contractors to return my calls for purchase and installation of a whole house generator until I was referred to South Glen by a friend. Within a day Glen was at my house and sized the unit we would need and i had a written estimate within a week. Since Generators were all back ordered, we had a 2 month lag until it was delivered. I did not have to provide a down payment until the generator was delivered to my house. In the beginning of March, the concrete pad foundation was put in and all natural gas lines were run. The electrical was delayed because we went on vacation but the work was then completed on 3/29. All inspections were done swiftly with approvals because the contractor had thought to schedule the inspections ahead of the final installation.
Description of Work: We purchased and had installed a whole house generator, 20kwh. Gary from South Glen Contracting took care of everything, from permits thru inspections. The work was done on time and they did a good job of cleaning up after their work. I had obtained 3 estimates for the purchase and installation and the price from South Glen was 25% lower than the other two estimates. The work was completed for the estimated price.
