I had Leanna and she is a very nice and thorough stylist. The first time we met, she did a short consult and was very professional. I have made two more appointments ahead because I love her personality and feel very comfortable around her and the other ladies that work there. Very happy with the service and the fact that they listen and give you very helpful tips.

All the services were excellent. Leanna gave me one of my best cuts and color ever! She went out of her way to ensure she could meet my expectations and she exceeded them. The salon is pleasant, friendly and clean. I've found my new hair place and look forward to using them for years to come.

Leanna was a delight, she helped me decide on a cut and listened To what I wanted. Very professional. Shop was clean and friendly. Atmosphere was good and relaxing. Would recommend . I'm new to the area and a very happy camper!

Leanne did an incredible job of duplicating my haircut. I was very stressed about finding a new stylist since we retired to Ocala, but Leanne took the time to make me feel very comfortable. She was professional, funny, and I WILL be returning on a regular basis for my haircuts.

I have very curly hair and is hard to find a good hairdresser that doesn't cut it too short. Patty is now my hairdresser. She gives a super head massage when washing your hair. Patty always cuts my hair just like we discuss before she starts. She then blow drys the curls out of my hair the best she can. I always leave Shades of Beauty feeling pretty and full of energy.

Shades of Beauty has recently redecorated the salon and it looks terrific. Updated and fresh. Good Job!!

Karen has been giving me manicures and pedicures for years.  She's always very professional and friendly. I have my next appointment for a pedicure already scheduled on the same day as my haircut with Deana, whom I reviewed separately. I highly recommend this salon for hair and nail services.

Deana has been cutting my hair since the former owner, whom I'd been going to for years, retired. She always gives me a great haircut! She tries hard to be on time and is very professional and friendly. Deana is very much into providing excellent customer service. I'd recommend her and her staff to anyone looking for a good salon experience. I never leave without making my next appointment.

She suggested a few hi-lights and I was so pleased the way my hair turned out. I will definitely return for future appointments.  Deana was pleasant and very helpful. It was a good experience.

It went great. I am new to Ocala and needed to find a hair stylist.  I was petrified about this as I had been with the same stylist for 30 years.  From the time Tammy called me (I had requested a call from someone to answer some questions) to the time I left the salon I was treated professionally. I asked her if they would match my hair color or if I should get the color from my stylist up north. She said that if I could get the color from my stylist she would try to get the exact color so I would be happy.  I called her with the color and she was able to get it the day of my appointment. When I got there she took me immediately even though I was early.  Before she started, She asked me if I had any concerns and asked how I wanted my hair cut.  I explained that my hair grows in different directions and that I have several cowlicks.  She checked it out and assured me she would not have a problem.  Tammy is a miracle worker.  She gave me a great cut and the color was perfect.  If you are looking for a good stylist, give her a try.  You won't be disappointed. I have found my new stylist.

 It was close to thanksgiving and also my grandsons wedding just a few days off but
 Tammy worked me in. It was my first time with her and I was not sure how it would
 work but she took me as soon as I got to the salon and did exactly what I asked her
 to do with my hair. She is very friendly and the salon has a nice atmosphere.  I
definitely will go back.
      Oh yes and she makes a great pumpkin roll. :-)

first time there and tammy ( the owner) talked to me about what I wanted She then suggested a style that was just what i was looking for.

Tammy was great! First time there as new to Ocala. It had been a few months inbetween cuts and my hair was a mess. She listened well, went over what I wanted and gave a great cut in just the style I wanted. Very friendly and professional--already made my 2nd appointment.

Stopped in and talked to Tammy. Asked some question and gave me a magazine to take home to see what style I liked. Made an appointment for the following week. We talked again and I was very pleased with my color and cut. Will go to Tammy again.
