When we first met Rick at our house, he stepped into our kitchen and just looked around for 45 seconds.  Then he said, "You aren't going to get rid of those cabinets, are you?  They are perfect for this house."  That was a great starter for our conversation.  We walked and talked through the project for 2-3 hours.  Three weeks later he sent us a detailed bid, which we accepted.  He ordered ordered parts for the kitchen re-do; we ordered appliances and brought spec sheets back for his carpentry work.  He was well-coordinated with his subcontractors.  I spent the first work week helping him with the counter removal, appliance removal, and cabinet re-design.  He even relocated a set of drawers to make room for the dishwasher while keeping the storage capacity of the drawers.  During that week we were able to communicate easily, make minor adjustments to the 'game plan,' and keep moving forward.  His carpentry skills are top-notch.

mmHome Remodel / Renovation or Building near Ocala FL Rick Giles completed a kitchen renovation and window replacement in our house in Summerfield, Florida. His work included cutting and re-fitting cabinets and drawers to make room for a dishwasher and under-cabinet microwave. He works with trusted subcontractors that did electrical and plumbing updates and tile work to create a new backsplash. He recommended a source for granite countertops; they did a great job. He recommended a source for 15 window replacements, and he completed the removal and installation. Rick is an outstanding carpenter, very thorough in his planning and his work. We highly recommend him for renovation projects or new construction.
