Terrible workmanship, promises to fix and complete work, never followed through. Over a year and half to end up not completing. I would never hire this company again.

A tornado came through my mobile home park, I have a double wide mobile home on my own land. The tornado tore up the front of my house, it demolished my car, the patio roof came down. When they came out, I didn't get the first thing done. They put me off, they lied to me. Everyone in my park had been repaired and I was still waiting six months later. So I was not happy. I would call, they wouldn't answer my calls. I would highly not recommend them. Amazingly after my son got involved, things started happening. He was threatening to sue them. They came out, estimated everything and didn't come out for six months. They had one guy who wanted all the time to come into the house and sit and talk and was always trying to get me to go out and was always trying to touch my arm or my sisters arm. And I called the office and reported that and they said they let him go, I don't know. It was a total disaster. The back door had blown off some tiles as well and some of the aluminum but the door is not right and it doesn't close properly. I thought they were overcharging. The quality of their work was fair. They never came out when they aid they were going to.

After reviewing the job with the project manager and estimator involved with the job, it was discovered the most of the delays were the result of the changes in workers and the engineering the was required by our building department. Every storm creates a backlog at the building due to the rapid influx of work. Communication with the customer usually alleviates some of the frustration of the delay. We strive to make all of our customers happy and complete jobs to their satisfaction within the parameters established be the insurance company. Our project manager and estimator spoke with [Member name removed] during and after the job and it was their impression that [Member name removed] was happy with the result and overall completion of the job. It was a surprise to our personnel that [Member name removed] was displeased as stated above. We do hundreds of jobs each year and have been in business 43+ years. Your lack of satisfaction is an exception, not the norm for our company. We strive everyday to make every customer happy with our performance and are extremely disappointed that [Member name removed] isn't one of those satisfied customers. If you will give us another chance in the future, we will try even harder next time."

They were good. The lamp works perfect. He takes a while since he works by himself, but he is very good.

It took them an eternity to finish the job. They were very unprofessional. It was days when there workers did not showed up. We were in connect with not one, it was 3 or 4 people and they were pointing fingers to each other for the delay. They took so long to get the work done, it was ridiculous.

It went great. Bill, the subfloor guy, was such a professional and knew what he was doing. We would recommend him to everyone. He was a hardworker and a perfectionist. We were impressed and it takes a lot to impress us! They were also very careful about the safety of our pet while they were doing the repairs.

The roof was lifted off house by a twister hole house had water damage.Restoration Specialist hired another contractor to put the roof on the house after they tried to dry out the house.Restoration Specialist put two blue traps on a flat roof to stop the rain from getting in.Well this did not work. We just got more water damage over the next few days as it rained ever day. Had to call them over and over about the rain getting in the house still. The new roof leaked within one week. They had to call them out to fix it. Then they stated on the inside putting insulation in the ceiling. They would show up for an hour or two a day to work and say they had to leave to go work on some other house. We asked them to lower drop ceiling. Was told they would then they did not. They stared work on bathroom. Left old plaster walls up. Asked them to put a shower head in the tub. They did and put panel board up in bathroom. The panel board had a pattern on it and when the two met they where off by 1 1/2 inches. This all had to be torn down. In the process of doing so we found that they put regular drywall in the shower. They were fired when we found this. In the process of removing the panel board we found black mold in the walls. You would think this company( RESTORATION SPECIALIST) in the business there in would know that the walls would need to be removed. It looked to us like Restoration Specialist was out to do as little as possible for as much money as they could get.The black mold in the walls could have made use all very sick. The sad part is they where there with our Insurance company so if they told the Insurance company that the walls need to come down the insurance should have payed for it. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

"Restoration Specialists has been in business since 1972. We take pride in our quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We have researched our files back to 2005 and find no job that we did for this person or this address. We further researched the building department and found no building permits pulled for this address. While we sympathize with the person who went through this experience, we must conclude they have us mixed up with another contractor."
