First tech came out for the initial service. I told him that 2 days prior, we were having issues with the AC draining, but it wasnt an issue at the moment. 2 months later, the AC is leaking again, but worse. I called because their service was supposedly guaranteed. They came out, had to splice some PVC pipe together to drain the lines because of our unique plumbing in the house. They found an object obstructing drainage left by the people who installed it (not them). I was charged $110 but disputed this charge. The first tech never even bothered to flush our drain pipes because it was inconvenient for him to access. Had he properly done this the first time, the obstruction would have been found, and the 2nd service call would not have to have been performed. They basically have a "We have your money, you're not our problem anymore" attitude.

"Hello, first we want to apologize for any indication we gave of a "We have your money, you're not our problem anymore" attitude. We do not operate in this manner and regretfully the situation has apparently left you believing this which is our fault. In reviewing your situation through our records we have determined we acted in a valid manner. Our technician responded to a leaking air conditioning call but when they arrived the unit was not leaking. They were informed as you stated that the unit had been leaking but was fine at the moment. The technician at that time blew out your lines to check for blockages but found nothing. Over the course of the service call we could find nothing wrong other then some non-standard piping. In responding to your second call of a leak we sent out a technician under the auspice of fulfilling your guarantee. However it was determined after further examination that at some point between the two calls someone had jammed a rusty knife into the drain pipes for the unit. We have no way to know whether this existed before or after our original call but the object was definitely not our company's equipment. Our technician removed the knife and again found the unit functioning properly upon completion. Due to the fact the second call resulted of a situation which we did not cause, the second call was found outside the guarantee of the first service call. Again we apologize if you feel wronged in anyway from this turn of events. We do standby our service guarantee and on occasion when mishaps occur we honor that guarantee fully. In this case though we determined the guarantee was not applicable to a foreign object appearing within the unit after the original service call.
