The company put forth effort to complete the job correctly. The first unit was dented, so the company returned it for one which was not dented. The techs, thus, had to stay late to complete the installation so that I could have air conditioning that evening. When there was a problem on the weekend, someone came out to fix the problem. Someone from the company also came out to check that the work was performed correctly before the city inspector came out.

I have been using them for a few years and last year I had to have my AC replaced.  Prior to that, I had purchased the service plan which included servicing my system.  I used repair service but the system had not been serviced prior to replacement so they told me they would service my new system the following year.  It's been over a year and I finally called, thinking I am so happy with this company, this is when they are going to let me down.  There will be no record of the deal and I will be angry.  To my great pleasure the young lady who answered the phone pulled my account up and without hesitation said she could have a technician out this afternoon if I wanted them or any day of my choosing.  Joe arrived and as always was professional and friendly.  He inquired about my satisfaction with the new system, performed the service and left me a very happy and grateful customer!  Anyone who is looking for a reputable, knowledgeable, service providing company should call!
Another thing, Joe remembered being at my house last year and when I mentioned Justin, who I worked with a couple of times last year he said he was still there also.  Happy employees that stay speak volumes!  Great job Ocala Heating & Air!!

I had them install a new A/C unit to my home which they charged about
$5000 for. They told me I needed a new unit after charging me $500 over
the course of two visits in which they supposedly repaired my old unit.
The repairs failed, so they told me I needed a new unit. I agreed, even
though they did not credit me any money for the repairs done the month
before. I paid in full for the new unit as they requested, and it leaked
for 2 weeks, ruining my floor. I was not aware of the leak at first
because it was slow. When I called the company to investigate the floor
damage, they said yes, in fact the unit was leaking and not installed
properly. I asked them who was going to repair my dmaged flooring. They
said they would not. So I called my home insurance, They replaced the
floor after I paid a $1000 deductible. Ocala Heating and Air refused to
reimburse me for the deductible, OR even give me an account credit for
the deductible I had to pay due to their faulty installation. I was also
using them for my business so I thought they would pay me back via
service if nothing else. THEY REFUSED TO PAY FOR MY INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE
FOR DAMAGE THEY HAD CAUSED.  THE UNIT HAS BROKEN DOWN 2 TIMES SINCE
THEN. I have had to pay them once to come out and do a repair, and
another time i used another company because I figured I could  not rely
on them since they installed the new unit wrong and then proceeded to
charge me for labor repairs on a brand new unit.

It was good service. I felt they were competent and I could trust them.

We called owner for explanation of charges. He was being defensive of his company stating he thought his prices were fair. Was not willing to break down cost of charges. We did further investigation and found that we could purchase items for $15- $20. We feel like the company is entitled to a profit but in this case it was excessive but every company has their own pricing structure. We felt that a part that cost $15-$20 and maybe 2 mins to install that $150.00 was excessive. We have used this company for some time now. The only mistake we made was not to check costs. No matter how well you think you know the company check prices before you have them installed. Lesson learned!

I had a leak from the unit in the house. The service man did an excellent job finding the problem and also while he was here I asked if he had time to clean out the air handler. He did and also did a excellent and neat job.

When I did contact them for duct cleaning, I thought they were expensive. But they did do a good job on our heating and air conditioning unit and I would use them again in the future.

We needed a new outdoor unit fast. Everybody else wanted us to wait for 4 days, and they came out the next day with a new one, the price was right, and they put it in. They had access to it, it was a package unit for a mobile home, they came out less than 12 hours after we called them, they installed it, and it's been working ever since. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.

The experience went well. They did a good job. They were friendly and courteous. They did charge extra for coming to my house since it was out of town. If they came again I would ask them not to do that.

They came out the same day when the air conditioning went out in the middle of a hot afternoon. Unfortunately it could not be repaired. They sent another person the next day for an estimate. The price was not the least expensive or the most. It was in the middle of the range. They installed exactly what we agreed on. The equipment is installed properly and looks and runs great. Comes with a great warranty. The office employees were nice and easy to deal with. Overall we're happy with the work. Had some issues with changing out the duct work in the attic but it got done. Took a bit longer than originally thought it would to complete.
