Moxey Remodeling

We hired Brad to fully remodel our very outdated bathroom, and we are so happy we did! He was always professional, very personable, and we felt like he had a connection to his work... like he was working on his own house. We went with a large format tile and Brad didn't just put them up, he cut and arranged them so the marble pattern looked fluid across the walls. His attention to detail didn't stop there; from the finishes to the smallest things like new switch plates, he transformed a dull old bathroom into a beautiful little spa. Not only would we enthusiastically recommend him, we've already booked him to do a refresh on our second bathroom.

Perfection! Brad was always on time, was a perfectionist in his work, and went way beyond what was expected. He was a joy to work with- polite, cheerful, an expert in his field! I have worked with many contractors, painters, etc. and Brad is heads and shoulders above them all!

I have a little construction background so I know how to build projects correctly in most cases. We wanted to remodel a bathroom but I didn't want to do the work myself. Brad was working across the street on a project that got bigger and bigger as time passed. The owner was on the opposite end of the country so Brad was on his own most of the time. As he approached completion we met and I got to know him. I did a lot of listening. Shortly after his completion of the project across the street, we struck a deal to do the remodel. I tried to get the cabinetry, plumbing and electrical onsite so as not to hold up the schedule. Oh well. Brad is a craftsman which is very unusual today. He does a great job from taking precautions not to create a mess larger than necessary, to creative suggestions on fit and finishes. He is honest, conscientious and reliable. He did some framing, drywall, installed two barn doors and a prehung door. All done well. What is really impressive is his tile work. We used the 2' X 4' tiles. Ours are sort of marble looking with blue and brown colors. There is no set pattern in them. It is mostly random. Brad takes the time to artistically fit the tiles so the colors (sort of) match up. He lays out the tile so that the joints are laid out to be the most pleasing to the eye. He also miters the edges so there is no need for a corner tile or bull nose. He laid out the tile on the floor of the shower in a symmetrical way so the linear shower drain almost disappears. The drain is also fitted with a piece of tile not the stainless grill. We could not be happier. Brad always showed up when he said and the job would have gone on schedule had it not been for the cabinet shop. The best recommendation I can give is that he has agreed to come back and remodel our other bathroom next summer.

There are so many things to say about Mr. Moxey and the quality work he does. First I am completely satisfied with my bath room project. He is punctual, through, pays attention to even the smallest of details. He goes above and beyond what was expected so at the end of the project I was left in awe of how great a job he did. I would recommend him with absolutely no reservation.

Couldn’t have been more pleased with Moxey Remodeling. I’m an out of state investor dealing with a rental in Ocala (Marion Oaks). I verified their license and insurance and all is in good order. Brad (owner) was detailed and timely. Very fair competitive price $$$! He replaced the formica counters in kitchen & bath, resurfaced all cabinets and painted them. The granite countertops look awesome. This is NOT some handyman work - it’s professional! He installed handsome brushed nickel hardware on cabinets to accent the faucets etc. My prop mgmt gave him access to the rental and they all told me how impressed they were with Moxey Remodeling and their quality workmanship! I give this business 5 STARS. If your place is in the Ocala area- Please give them a call. And I’m ok if future customers call me.

Brad is and was the very best contractor we could have asked for. From the moment he and I spoke I knew I'd found not only a highly skilled contractor but a trust worthy one. He was professional, responsive, attentive, compassionate, highly skilled, respectful, clean, and a general pleasure to work with. The quality of his workmanship is truly exceptional and the shower exceeds my expectations in every way.
