Ah, YES! It went VERY well!!! Removed the old replaced with the new! Dana & Ryan arrived on time and went right to work. They assembled the new fixture and made the exchange look easy (I know better, as it was exceptionally high up!) The level of expertise was quite evident... and they were pleasant & sociable as well! We will definitely use them again for any and all things electrical!!!! We, Thank you....

First, they were prompt both for the in-home estimate and for the actual work. Actually, they had to come twice for the estimate because of my mistake. For the outlets on the lanai and outdoors, Guy suggested a solution which was very unobtrusive and met all my needs. When they came to do the work, Guy and Bill were very professional and efficient. They put down cloths where they were working, did the work without noise or apparent frustration even when they were in a cramped closet. Cleanup was done completely and quietly. They took the time to show me the solution to the mistake I made when I replaced an outlet in the den and it no longer worked by the wall switch. They also took the time to check out another few concerns I had thought of since the estimate. Throughout each interaction with them I felt confident with the work and respected by them. This was a totally positive experience and I would recommend them without hesitation.

They surprised us by being 5 minutes early.  Contractors are rarely on time and never early!  They were friendly and knowledable and we'll definately use them again.

They came to install my security cameras after I received a very reasonable quote. Guy parked his truck blocking my car the first day, so I asked him if he could move the truck so he wasn't blocking me. He came back the second day and did it again. Bill asked if I planned on leaving and I told him I wanted to be able to get out quickly if there was an emergency since I have an elderly mother. The first day they arrived, it was drizzling so they left to go get coffee and came back an hour or two later to tell me we had to reschedule. So they left two cameras with wires hanging down that were obvious to passers by that they were not connected and could be removed. I asked Bill to come back out and hide the wires, which he did. They came back to finish the job as scheduled. Bill was loudly hocking and spitting in my yard periodically which was quite distracting since I was working from home that day. Bill discovered vermiculite insulation in the attic. He drilled a hole in the ceiling as I requested for the wires to be fed from the attic. However there was a big hole that I later had to fill with foam because a huge pile of this vermiculite kept accumulating on my floor until I plugged the hole. Bill had swept some up and dumped in my butterfly garden right outside my door instead of the trash. Finally, when I went to plug everything in, I discovered that one of the coaxial cables had lost its pen during the installation. The end of the cord connector had been slightly mangled while they were trying to feed it through the soffit on the exterior of the house which appeared to be giving them a hard time for a while. I had to rig it with a staple bent in half to get a connection to that camera. When I asked Bill, as I was paying him, if they warranty the work, he acted as if once they did what they came to do, then anything that went wrong would likely be my error since all that was left was the DVR setup. They were punctual and dressed professionally. Overall they were friendly and the work was completed. So far everything has been working fine.

Excellent professional work.  Immediately identified problem, got the part. and installed it within the day.

He looked over the situation and began checking to see where the wire was that fed the shed and the green-
house.  He found it and discovered that it had a spot on it that was likely chewed by a squirrel, exposing the
wire and causing a short.  He repaired that with electrical tape.  I had wanted him to install lighting in the
hay shed, too; but he said he didn't have time and wanted me to dig a trench from the greenhouse to the
hay shed to bury the proposed wire.  We also went out to the pond, which has an ultraviolet light to sterilize
the water and kill the algae; it keeps blowing bulbs.  He couldn't explain it, but I already knew that it needed
a dedicated circuit to avoid that.  He said if I plugged it into the other side of the box out there that I already
had a dedicated circuit and wouldn't need anything but a replacement bulb.  I have not been able to get a
bulb.  He said, when I asked him why the shed A/C kept coming on and going off, that I needed an A/C
person to address that.  I did call an A/C person, who said I needed a new thermostat, which fixed the
problem.  He told me the electrician could have easily fixed it, but he didn't even try to find the problem.  I got
the feeling that I was taking up his valuable time.  He said that he was there only to diagnose the problems,
not to fix them, and that he had fixed the damaged wire just because it was a quick fix and easy to do.  That
was not my understanding when I called him in the first place.

Mr. Guy Fish came out on 2/20/13 and review all the work I needed and address my concerns for the tripping of the circuit breaker. He also put me at ease on correcting me from mis-informed information. I thought I would have to replace my entire electrical panel, so he saved me a bit of money. I needed some additional lighting in the front of the home; therefore, he installed two light at each side of the garage, where there was no electrical before, he also gave me an outlet in front of my house so I may be able to plug my outdoor equipment and future fountain. Most of all he gave me additional outlets in the bathrooms for the girls to use their beauty products, without tripping the circuit breaker.
Mr. Fish came with his partner and they were prompt and very courteous, got everything done and clean everything up! Love the lights and Handy-Men Electric LLC work.
They are very busy, so you may have to wait on their availiability, but they are WORTH the wait!
