Economy Garage Doors

Wes showed up on time, very polite, very nice, very knowledgeable, but most of all, HONEST. We decided to repair the opener we had and he replaced a large gear inside for us, and it's also warrantied for a year. Unlike a lot of places who warranty 30-90 days. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends. WE also asked when he was here if he could replace the keypad outside and it took him about 5 minutes to have it programmed and running . The cost of the keypad was extra but fair.

He was on time and very professional. He told us what caused the problem how to prevent the problem. He stated it was very common to have this happen but it can be stopped by paying attention to what is around the door not just right under the door.

Phil called first thing in the morning and said he would be here between 2-4pm. He arrived at 1:55pm. Phil assessed the situation and said that screw drive coupler and up limit switch needed replacement. He went right to work and it was done in under 20 minutes. He sprayed the wheels and hinges, and greased the track too. Excellent service. PaId in cash and received a 10% discount.

Great! The diagnosis was correct. He replaced the worn out screw drive coupler, greased the track, sprayed the wheels and changed the light bulbs too! Recommended that wheels be serviced maybe next year, not needed at this time.

Started with a service call that corrected many issues. Was told that the door opener was very old and I should replace it. I opted to wait and see how it does. After a month I was not happy with the noise from the opener. I called Phil back and asked him to schedule a new opener for me. Two days later it was done and I was amazed how smooth and quiet the new opener was. Very professional, honest, timely. Can't say anything negative about Phil or Economy Garage Doors.
Sorry, no one gets an excellent when it comes to price....that's just me.  BUT, $350 for a garage door opener and great service is hard to beat.

He was very nice and very pleasant. He was very straight forward on what had to be done. He wasn't there for even a half hour. He assess what had to be done and he did it. He was very reasonably priced.

Arrived on time with all tools and materials needed.  Very capable person.  He was the owner of the business.

We have had a very aggravating garage door opener with many problems. Phil has made several different repairs in the past, but the poor old thing finally gave up.
We went back to the company for our replacement because of the prompt and friendly service we have received from him in the past. We weren't disappointed. We received the same kind of attention that we have come to trust.

Although it wasn't a inexpensive repair, garage door is like new.
Also, technician saved me from buying a whole new door.

Technician Phil phoned ahead with time of arrival estimate and was on time. He assessed the situation, tested and found the
problem right away. In the course of doing the repairs, he saw other things that would need fixing or repair in the not too distant
future. There was no pressure to 'do it now', but what I saw as a concern that those things were likely, or more probably, going
to happen as the system is 11 years old.

It went very well. Would highly recommend.

Within one hour of my original phone call, on a Monday morning, Phil was at my house making the repairs.



Very fair on the pricing, knowledgeable on all the issues, and had everything done in close to 45 minutes, and there was a lot to be done.

We were very happy with Phil and the service he offered. We had had an estimate from another company and they quoted over $650.00. in parts and labor. Obviously, that company was trying to take advantage. Phil came in, diagnosed the problem and repaired it. He also lubricated the rollers of the door and gave it an over all check. The charge was less than half of the other companies estimate. We are very glad we called Economy Garage Doors.

It went great. Phil was on time, pointed out areas in the damaged door that were incorrectly installed originally, he was able to repair the damage and fixed all the other miscellaneous problems with out any added cost. Watching this guy work you know and have confidence that he really knows what he is doing.

Phil noticed the rod without me even telling him. He explained everything to me and did the work quickly. My garage door works perfectly now and I'm satisfied. Phil was very nice and did the job he was supposed to.
