My tenants contacted this company to fix their ac when they couldn’t reach me. they set an appointment for the following day. i contacted them to let them know i own this home and i needed their workman to contact me with a quote prior to repairing anything. they didn’t contact me. they then sent an invoice that is 1/3 higher and there other companies i called for quotes. i don’t give ANYONE a blank check to fix something. i ALWAYS ask for a quote. who in their right mind would do this. when i complained to them they threatened to go onto my property without permission to remove the parts they installed! then they proceeded to contact my tenants and threaten them on several occasions!!!! these people are criminals in my opinion. i would recommend that NOONE HIRES THIS COMPANY!!! their doors should be closed.

The first technician skipped a step and the Reme Halo fell out. When I called them to say it had fallen out they had another technician out within 2 hours. Which was great because we live pretty far away from town and we're not quick to get to. They were both personable, polite, and knowledgeable. They explained what they were doing and let us watch the whole process. You can tell a lot about a company by how they handle things that go wrong. They couldn't have handled it better.

We tried somebody else and they didn't show up and then I called Duncan's and they showed up within an hour.  They were awesome.  They fixed it right in the rain when other people weren't willing to come work in the rain.

Excellent. Superior pros. And I do mean superior in every detail. For example Mr. Duncan faced all the sealing tape all going the same direction with the lettering all lined up. It looked like a million. You rarely see this type of craftsmanship these days!

We tried to do our homework before spending this kind of money. Our system was only 10 years old from when we built our home and it was toast.
We had 4 separate companies come to give us a quote and check things out. Duncan's was not the lowest price. Mr. Duncan however gave us quite an education on what we should be looking for and what we should be accepting no less than no matter whom we went with.
We learned a great deal about each manufacturer. They use the Trane products.  Bottom line we decided that the Trane was the best for us and we set the appointment for a few days later.
They installation team was prompt, polite and answered all questions Gave us a great walk through on using or new wireless thermostat, especially on being able to use with our phones. This was important to us.
They finished early, cleaned up as if they had never been here and we were ecstatic about out new purchase.
The best though happened a few days later. We received a personal handwritten thank you note from Chad Duncan. Let's just say WOW!!!

I interviewed several contractors along with price quotes. I was most impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of Duncan's presentation. I feel that their price was on the high side but was willing to pay for their thoroughness and professionalism. You can buy the best system available, but if the installer cuts corners, your system won't work as well or last as long as it could. They came to install the unit on time and took two guys all day as predicted. They were courteous and thorough, answering any questions I had in a positive manner. They cleaned up the work site thoroughly too. I intend to use them to service my system as well.

They had one employee come out for probably twenty to thirty minutes. We have a long term relationship with Duncan; he is a friend of a family. That, and he has been doing our air conditioning work for over 40 years. You will get very good service here.

The Trane corporate office arranged for this company to provide repair service on our Trane Air Conditioning system. Trane covered the cost so I do not know the exact cost, but the work was supposed to be warranted for 90 days. Work was performed by John Schulte, who I have found out is no longer with the Company. Last week, my dining room carpet and pad were soaking wet, as before the repair, and I found the unit was leaking again. When I called Duncan's answering service they gave my message to a technician named Robert. When he called me later in the evening he informed me he would charge me over $127 to come out in the evening. I told him he could wait until the next day. He said that my work was only guaranteed for 90 days and that John Schulte no longer worked there. I said he worked there in April, and this is July, that is 90 days and since it is the same problem, I would think you would cover this. The next day, I called Bill Duncan, whose name appears on the business cards left at my home, who said he was no longer running the business and to call Chad, his son. I called Chad, but was told he was not in and the receptionist asked if I would talk to his wife. When his wife got on the phone she immediately started saying my work was not covered, that my name was not in their system, that the tech who came to our home was no longer there, accused me of being defensive and said I could not prove that the problem was even the same one that they had been here for before. I told her that the owner asked me to talk to Chad. She started screaming at me saying I'M HIS WIFE AND I AM THE OWNER, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TALK TO MY HUSBAND. YOU HAD NO BUSINESS TALKING TO BILL DUNCAN, I RUN THE BUSINESS, I OWN IT AND I AM THE MANAGER. I informed her that I would report this to Angie's List and her exact words were and quot;YOU JUST DO THAT DAMNED LITTLE THINGand quot;! I told her she could count on it. I then called Bill back to inform him of how his office and business is now being run. He said he would look into it and have someone call me back. A little while later I received two calls from a restricted number that played loud music into the phone and refused to respond to me when I answered the phone.
I would not recommend this business to anyone who wants an honest company that will treat them with respect and honor their warranties.

"Trane paid us in November of 2013 to install a new evaporator in a unit that was well over 10 years old and out of warranty. They did so due to repeated calls evidently. We were warned that it might not be a good idea to get involved, but installed the coil in November 2013 anyway upon a request from Trane. I do not know what the water leak in July 2014 was caused by because the customer did not want to pay anything to have it checked. The call to the office was placed by telling the girls that she had Mr. Bill Duncan's test results and could only talk to him. Since Mr. Duncan is retired and had just been to the doctor she received his cell phone number. After finding out from Mr. Duncan that he was retired she then called the office again to tell them that she needed to give the test results to Chad Duncan, they told her no, and then found out who she was. After using foul language, and threatening the girls in the office the call was ended and we have not heard from anyone since. We did not install the unit, nor did we ever do any work/preventative maintenance at all except for install a new evaporator coil in the inside unit per Trane's request. Again this is a unit that was well over 10 years old and out of all warranty parts & labor."

The appointment regarding an estimate was extremely professional and informative.  It was determined it would be best to re-install the air handler back in the attic.  This would consist of removing the original air handler installed in the attic as well as the second air handler which had been installed in a closet.  Everything was explained in detail with the reasoning behind it.  There was a lot of work involved, however, we believe the company was most concerned with completing the installation in the most efficient manner possible to benefit the customer.  The crew who came out to complete the installation were very professional as well.  They removed all the old equipment, cleaned up after themselves and performed the installation of all the new equipment seamlessly.  We were very impressed from start to finish and will use this company for all future a/c and heating needs.  We highly recommend them after our experience.

Their service call was fast and the equiptment we had wasn't one that they usually work on, but they took their time and figured it out. They also made notes so if they ever had to come back. Also, they took care of some thing that needed to be done, like clauking and clraning and tapeing.

I have a Infinity System air system and it has a a warning showing what is wrong with the system and he never even looked at the code to see what was wrong and just pulled some wires and fix things that shouldnt be fixed killed time to run up the bill charged me 229.00 for two hours he was here took him over 30 min to write up bill and he didnt even fix the problem five min after he left the Malfunction alert came back up on the system supposed to be here around 2:30 got here at 5:30 and system still isnt fixed tried blaming the person who put it in saying they done everything wrong telling me I needed to spend a couple thousand to fix what was wrong this is how I saw what happened to me
