Duct Dusters

I first hired Kevin in 2019 to clean a chimney. He told me he also did yard work. I had him do lawn & trimming. He was great for a long time, then started missing some appointments (said he was short handed & had other jobs.) Summer 2021, he said he really needed more work, so I pre-paid him $340.00 to pull vines and buy mulch for the garden. He cashed check immediately, then for 9 weeks kept giving excuses for not doing the work. He finally said he would come by and repay me, but never did and doesn't answer my messages any longer. Not trustworthy.

Excellent job. Kevin has taken over his grandfather's business. He was prompt, new his business, cleaned ducts that had never been cleaned, cleaned dryer duct, and all vent openings. Also sanitized with mold and bacteria solution, and a warranty. Highly recommend

This company was recommended to us by an A/C company.  We researched another company (on Angie's List); however, that company had bad reviews.

Duct Dusters is a GREAT company!!  Our appointment was for 10 AM.  Kevin called at 9:50 AM to say he would be at our home in 20 minutes, which was exactly when he showed up.  He brought in all his machinery and informed us that the air compressor might be a little noisy.  It was about the same as a ride-on lawn mower.  He had his own ladders, hoses, screwdrivers, lights - he had it all.  He told us it would take between 1-1/2 to 2 hours to complete the work. 

As he removed the vents, my husband washed them and then Kevin put them back up.  He was very professional, courteous, had a sense of humor and was thorough.  And...THERE WAS NO MESS!!  When he was finished, he sanitized all the ducts for any bacteria and the scent was very pleasant and only lasted a couple of minutes. 

Then, he showed us all the dust that was blown out of all our ducts (there was this big machine in the garage with a humongous hose attached to it, which collected all the dust being blown out of the ducts).  Some of the ducts he had to clean 2 to 3 times because of all the dust accumulated in them. Kevin told us that we would see a big difference in the way our A/C worked now that the ducts do not have any dust prohibiting air flow.  (We weren't getting the coolness that we thought we should have when running the A/C and that's why we decided to have the ducts cleaned prior to having the A/C checked).   

I asked Kevin when the ducts should be cleaned and he told us every 3 or 4 years.  We have lived in our house almost 5 years and do not know if the previous owners had the ducts cleaned.

We would definitely recommend Duct Dusters and would use them again.  This company is not on Angie's List; however, I told Kevin I would put them on Angie's List because we were so pleased with his work and would refer him to our friends and neighbors.
