SPF roof was a blistered and leaking mess two years after installation. He used water-based paint to seal which is not appropriate for roofs with ponding water. Daryl, 100% silicone it what you are supposed to use! Last year I tried to contact Daryl, but after several weeks it was clear he was blowing me off. He literally sprayed more SPF over existing blisters and let the uncoated foam bake in the sun. Daryl, UV rays from the sun degrade the foam! This work cost me tens of thousands to repair.

They replaced my roof a few years back. I have had a problem with a leak since they replaced the roof. They came out and “fixed” the leak, but it was not fixed. Now they will not contact me back despite many phone calls and attempts to reach them. I called another company and for them to fix this company’s mistake is going to cost over $2000. SO do not use them!!!

I did a lot of looking around at companies to replace my roof, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Custom Roofing! Justin and his team (Tony, Pedro, Omar, and Steve) were a great crew and were a pleasure to work with. If you need a new roof at a fair price, do yourself a favor and hire this team.

After coating the roofs, within a year and a half, the coating started to unattach itself from the roof and now my roof looks like the craters of the moon. And also I am now having leaks again. When I tried contacting the company all I ever get is an answering service. I tell the service to have someone contact me but never receive a return call. I have left many emails but no answer there either. Worst company. If you use them after reading this review, you deserve what you will get, which will be a subpar job and absolute ZERO customer service afterward..

Within a year the foam was bubbling up in quite a few places. I called and called and finally someone showed up and went up on the roof without telling me, (my wife saw someone up there), and never heard from them again. I must have called a dozen times. All I get is the answering service. They say that they will give them message, but nobody returns my calls or comes by to fix the defective parts on the roof. There is water leaking through whenever it rains hard. Unprofessional, unreliable, undependable. Sure they will show up and take your money but do not expect any service after the initial work. I just noticed that I can submit photos, so I will take some and post them for all to see.

I hired Custom Roofing to put on 3 new roofs and many repairs on other properties last year. The work was good. The service was good. Family owned and operated. I just got 5 estimates of a new project and Custom was the cheapest. They will be installing a new roof for me in the next 2 weeks. Unless something changes I will be using them in the future

I worked with Trevor Eatmon for this work. Job site was in Gainesville, FL. This was a detached utility room with a 40' x 12' roof. On the surface, this would sound like a straightforward job, but there was an extra element of difficulty. The existing "roofing material" consisted of ten 12' x 4' solar panels with flashing around them and connecting them. These were 30 year old panels made of stainless, aluminum, copper and glass. I don't know the weight of each one, but I'd guess ~150 lbs. each, maybe more. Under those was tar paper and plywood sheathing mounted on steel beams. A couple of other roofers I talked to just didn't know what they were getting into on the panels and wanted an arm and a leg to remove them on top of the roofing cost. Trevor knew his stuff. He realized the scrap value of the panels and, not only didn't charge me for them, but I wonder based on the price he quoted if he didn't give me a discount for them. He showed up on the day promised and stayed all day with the crew of three or four guys. They knew what they were doing. They quickly figured out how the panels were attached and set to work with a couple of guys detaching them, everyone working together to get them to the ground and one guy on the ground disassembling them and sorting them in piles of stainless, aluminum, copper and glass. Once that was done, there was some experience and knowledge required to figure out how to proceed because of the unusual construction of the building. Trevor quickly came up with a plan for sheathing and flashing and the roof was installed before the day was done. The work looks great. They also hauled off a fairly large amount of other metal debris unrelated to the roof work at no additional charge. Good luck for me that I found someone who had enough experience to be able to handle a roof constructed in a much different way that is typical for our area.

This is the second roof I have had done on my properties. The bid was in the middle. I had seen their work in the neighborhood. The crew showed up early. Most were hispanic which was the case for both homes done. I believe that skilled craftman have become a problem and our hispanic population has filled the void. The work was completed in two day. I paid for the materials separately, having been burned in the past when materials were not paid for by the contractor. Everything looked good but the roof did not pass the permit inspection. Rules for installation had been changed due to our code changed from 100 mph wind to 110 mph. The code now requires 6 mail per shingle rather than 4 nails. It took two more inspections before it passed. The owner of the company and his best workman can on a weekend to correct the problems identified by the codes inspector.
Always hold back 10 or 20 percent until all the work has passed inspections.
Always have a lien release signed.

Big guarentee and leaky roof with no response. Great deal of water damage. If anybody knows a good lawyer who will sue them for all my costs (plus attorney's fees). So far I'm out about $2,500 and to fix the ceilings and walls is looking like another $6,000.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE !!!!!!

Response from CUSTOM ROOFING AND COATINGS INC
"The Damage which occurred was determined to be from the windows above the roof line. The "overspray" was minimal and taken care of right away. There have not been any "attorney fees " as to this was not a roofing issue."

I thought they did a really good job. They did it quick, within two days and were gone. I will use them again in the future.
