Center State Granite

Ted Bullard is the owner and is the main person I worked with up until installation. He was very professional and always returned calls within a reasonable amount of time. His company offered incentives (free sink, and free bathroom countertop were the specials during the time we worked with them) to choose them over other companies, and so his prices ended up being more reasonable than other places. I shopped around with several other granite places, including the "Big Box" stores before we decided to go with Center State. Their prices were the lowest of all we checked, but we did NOT feel like we sacrificed on quality. We did a special edge, and a special half-circle (radius) cut. We also had piece that was a couple of inches longer than the standard piece of granite that they usually have on hand, but Ted went the extra mile to find a granite supplier that had an extra long peice so we didn't have to have an extra seam. Even with all the extras that we did, and eventhough it was Christmas time, we still had the granite installed within 2 weeks of the time he came and estimated. The installers did a great job, and the final product is beautiful. The only concern I had with the installers was that we had just put down hardwood floors, and they did not come prepared to be careful or seem very concerned with my floors. Thankfully I had lots of empty cardboard boxes that I was able to put around them and the floors were not badly damaged. I was a nervous wreck during the process of installation (mostly because of the new floors), but in the end, I was very pleased. Another thing that I liked about Center State is that they provide a plumber and electrician in the cost that they quote. You do not have to do any extra work with getting a plumber or electrician to come out. The prices are very reasonable and the people they sent to do the plumbing and electrical were excellent.
