Excellent company to deal with for appliance repairs. Technician was very knowledgeable and fair. I was anticipating that I needed new rollers on my dryer but turned out they only needed tightening and a couple washers. The technician could have easily told me I need all new rollers at $65.00 each. The work was performed timely and the dryer is working perfectly. If you are looking for an honest & fair appliance repair company, look no further.

Called in the morning, and he was there in the afternoon. Completed his work and tidied up.

Originally called for washer only; diagnosed problem rapidly and repaired.  I mentioned fridge had a problem also.  He said that would be such and such part.  Repaired.  Both appliances working well.

They came and were responsive.  They showed up on time, and did things the way I wanted.

I went and I bought the part myself, which the company suggested to keep the costs down.  I then got charged the whole service charge for the technician to tell me that the dishwasher was out of balance.  They just adjusted one leg and got the door to turn on.  They charged almost a full hundred dollars for this.  The technician wasn’t very nice and acted like he didn’t want to be there.

Did  not fix it. He installed a gasket on the door and left for two week vacation. The next day the Dishwasher was still leaking out of the same place. Called A & E Appliance Repair  Certified/ Tech, they came the next day. Stated I didn't need the gasket, the D/washer was leaking from a small crack in  the inner tub, which is covered by Whirlpool 20 year warranty for parts and labor for that failure. 
Called Dr. Appliance office and notified them that they charged me for something unneeded and I would like some sort of adjustment to what I paid -  door gasket $54, - - service call $65, and l- - labor $30.I was told that if I could prove that the gasket wasn't needed, they would make an adjustment only on the $30 labor charge. I informed them that I was referred by Angies list, and wasn't happy. I was told it does not matter,  they have plenty of happy customers.
 He is not a Certified Tech and unaware of what can save you a giant expense. Unprofessional and UNFAIR

Update - Was not rude until I was told I was being unreasonable. The leak stained  a portion of my hardwood floor. So, it was just one leak, and that was from the inner tub. WHICH IS covered by a 20 year warranty. This man is just a fool.

We have used James (The Appliance Doctor) numerous times over the past 10 years to repair a washing machine, refrigerator, stove and a dryer.  In every instance his response has been immediate, he's completely understood the problem, usually before he even arrives, and works quickly and efficiently to resolve the problem and put the machine back in service.  The man is a true professional, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in  need of appliance repair.  He truly is very good at what he does!

My daughter's washing machine started leaking water thru bellows seal.  Contacted Appliance Doctor on May 7th and explained the problem.  Necessary part was ordered and a service technician was out the following day, the 8th, and made necessary repair.  This is the 2nd time that we have used Appliance Doctor and remain impressed and pleased with their service.  Price was reasonable.

I thought they were very careful. They cleaned up after themselves. They even did extra work for us that they didn’t charge us for. I am happy with their services.

The gentleman arrived when he said he would.  He did everything we asked and did it very timely.

It only took the guy 1 minute to restart the dishwasher motor.

They came when they said they were going to come and did what they said they were going to do.

The fact that Appliance Doctor was able to have a technician out to us with such short notice was impressive and very much appreciated; thus avoiding a long weekend without a washing machine, especially with 3 young chridren in the household.  Technician was young, personably, professional and very efficient.  Cleaned up nicely.

A person answered the phone when I called (not an answering machine), and the repairman came promptly and on time.  He quickly determined the nature of the problem and repaired the dryer on the spot.  He did so in a short period of time and at a very reasonable cost.
