As part of the pre-purchase process for a home here in Ocala we contacted this business to perform a "home inspection." The inspection was done in early January but we did not occupy the property until this past week, on the 4th of March. Since then I have had occasion to look up in the attic for possible storage space and installaion of cabling for a satellite antenna. I was very disappointed to see the amount of insulation present. A far cry from what we had been led to believe was the status from the home inspection. The inspection report stated: "Insulation: Batt and loose insulation." "Insulation Depth: 6 - 8" The reality was that there is no insulation over the garage area and just standing up in the access hole to the attic, and with a flashlight there are a number of areas that can be seen where the insulation does not even cover the 2 X 4's making up the roof trusses. If this area of the inspection was done so poorly what else can we expect to find as inadequate.
