Great! Company representative, John McCann, answered all questions and explained how new system differs from older one. He made no effort to add on unneeded "upgrades." Installation was scheduled. Carlos and Shane arrived on schedule and immediately set to work. Both men were courteous and hard-working. The estimated 4-5 hour installation was completed in just over three and a half hours. Inspector came today and approved everything. We are completely satisfied and will continue our maintenance plan.

On Monday (4/28/14 we called A and R for repair as the air conditioner unit is under warranty (or so I was told). The service man on Monday said that he had to order 2 or 3 parts as he was unsure of which part was needed. He said that it could take from 1 to 3 days to obtain the part(s).
I have phoned A and R heating and air conditioning every day for the past 3 to 4 days and always get the same message and quot; the part has not arrived.and quot; Today 5/2/14 I received a message from A and R heating and air that the part has not arrived and I was asked if she (the lady that phoned) could set up an appointment for Monday 5/5/14 between 1200-1400 for Brain to come and repair the air conditioner.
I find this service as totally unacceptable.

A and R responded promptly and arrived at our home within one hour. Ryan, a very knowledgable and professional technician, had the exact replacement part we needed. He installed it and our unit was up and running within 30 minutes. Ryan also stayed to make sure everything was running properly before he left.
As we had previously used A and R in 2010 with the same positive experience, we decided to go forward and purchase a one year maintenance agreement with A and R and feel very confident to recommend this company.

It went fine. I think they did a thorough job in their inspection. I worked around with them in the two main areas and they did a nice job explaining to me what I should be doing for maintenance, what they were looking for and what the numbers meant that came up on their reader.

I ask for Daniel to repair my furnace , because he is very knowledgeable and skilled . He previously had successfully diagnosed and replaced the compressor in the a/c unit. Three other repairmen from 3 other companies had misdiagnosed the problem. Only Daniel got it right. Since the repair, my cooling bills have dropped substantially.

Techs showed on time and did the job required. Problems with knoweldge of electricity and of the features on the Thermostat were experienced (we had to have an electrician review the panel and also we had to explain to the techs about the Auto feature on the thermostat). Previous problems with an installation of a similar system were handled by the company but we feel there is a disconnect between the promises of the sales staff and the follow-up of the techs and customer service. This company is the same as PrecisionAir and it should be noted on Angie's List that they are the same. We left a comment under that vendor name in addition to what is here.
