This company rocks!   Very friendly people, a family-owned company.  They were efficient, polite, did great work, and were very tuned into making sure that we were happy with everything.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing an excellent painting job!

John "The Greek", the owner, was prompt, friendly, highly professional and his company was very responsive. The initial estimate was given quickly, and resulted $4,000 lower than my neighbor's similar work.  The final cost remained the same as the original estimate (what a treat).  The entire team - John and his family - and the workers were excellent both in their professionalism, responsiveness, work and cleanup.

All work was completed on schedule, to our very high satisfaction.

They had 2 guys come Monday Morning with John and reviewed the project. John stated the project would take 5 days. They scraped and skim coated the ceiling the first day. The same 2 guys came each day and really got a lot done each day. Having the ceiling scraped in 2 room and repairing 2 seams in another room, they cleaned up each day. They did a great job painting the walls and ceiling. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the crew.

I liked the fact the representatives of this provider were very punctual  and they did the job perfectly.

The whole process was great, the two painters showed up on time every morning, we would go over what was to be done that day, at the end of the day everything was put away and they also finished a day early.  On one morning it had rained heavily and they still showed up to remove some scaffolding and to let me know they wouldn't be able to paint that day. 

An excellent experience. Workman were very professional and thorough. They were obviously proud of the quality of their work. When painting interior areas they covered all furniture and cleaned up thoroughly upon completion of the work.

Was very pleased with the professional nature of the work and the hands-on management of the job.  It's a family run business and I had the opportunity to meet the owner, who personally came out to survey the job, as well as other family members who were involved in the sales and scheduling activities for my job.  The team was professional, they showed up on time, they worked hard, and they came back at the end of the job, after being paid, to complete touch up work that needed to be done.  Overall a great experience -- I'd recommend John the Greek painting to others.

These are the best painters in town!  You are working with a family owned business who truly care about all of their projects.  They were flexible, creative and responsive.  Their crews were personable and respectful and did a great job with all of the services we hired them to perform.  We hit several unexpected issues which they handled smoothly and with patience.  I will hire them again for any future projects.  If you want an easy experience with a quality outcome, contract this company.

He is doing the job in phases.  He did an excellent job with the first phase.  His price was reasonable.  He called me right back and he was there when he said he would be there.  He found some problems and filled them putty.  He is very enthusiastic and committed to his business.  He did good quality work and was on time.

I called John the Greek at the recommendation of my lawn guy who said his in-laws use him and were always very happy.  I had gotten a quote from another painter for the amount of $10,000 which surprised me a great deal.  The receptionist was very friendly and said she would send someone out the next day for an estimate.  John showed up right on time and I felt like he was listening to what I wanted and not just hurrying me along.  He gave me a great quote of $3,000 (I had already bought the paint myself) and I hired him on the spot.  The were busy finishing up a big job and he said they would start the next week.  Again they showed up right on time and John was with the work crew to explain exactly what was needed.  I thought it would take about 3 weeks to paint, so when I was told 10 days I was extremely happy.  The extra $1,000 it cost me was because we had some rotted wood overhanging the garage that needed to be replaced and I asked at the same time if they would replace the screening in the eaves.  They did a fabulous job and I am soooooooo very happy with them.  I would most definately use John the Greek again and will suggest them to anyone who asks me.

The attention to detail and professionalism was second to none.  They arrived on time every day and the work was fast and efficient.They were extremely helpful when it came to choosing the right colors. 

John “The Greek” Painting exceeded all expectations. There project was to paint a two story home. They were prompt and on time for the work to be done. They were very professional and gave me the lowest quoted price of many. Not only did they do excellent work, but they went above and beyond and did even more work than what was contracted upon. I would recommend them to anyone needing quality paint work done at an extremely fair price.

They arrived early Tuesday morning and worked all day on pressure cleaning and prepping.  They were back early the next morning to do the painting.  Everything  was finished in two days.   The  guys were very professional and did an excellent job.

They first day, JTG came and was very patient and explained evrything that I asled for to be done.

On the first day of job, they were prmpt, very professiona, cleaned everything up and were great.  They even changed 2 light bulbs for me I am in wheelchair).

I asked hime for estiate on exterior, deck and painting- he got back to me within 4 days.  Very good company.

They charged me about $2800 for the job. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. They did great work. They showed up. They were very professional and they cleaned up. The house came out great. It was a good price and they do quality work. They let us choose our paint and we used their paint from another store. I would definitely use their services in the future too. As a matter of fact, I have a second house and the painter is going to take a look at a small job there for me.

He did a good job overall. i did ask him to do the baseboards, which he said was not necessary. He cleaned them off instead.

MET WITH KIRK (SALESMAN) AT THE HOME. HE GAVE US A FORMAL PROPOSAL, WHICH WE ACCEPTED. HE COMMUNICATED WITH ME OFTEN AND PERFORMED THE JOB AS PROMISED AND ON SCHEDULE. EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP AND PROFESSIONALISM

We have used JtG several times in the past 15 years, both for exterior and interior paint jobs. They have always been very competitive on price and have done an excellent job. So, we went with them when we recently bought an older house. Due to remodeling, it required complete re-painting inside (walls, doors, baseboards, moulding, casing, ceiling, the works) and outside. For some reason, this time, their quote was high, but we did not mind because they have always done such a great job in the past. When the work started, however, we were disappointed. While they are very responsive, punctual and professional; the details were lacking. For instance, inside we requested a satin paint finish and they used an eggshell. We were told this was the same, but it is not, specifically it does not clean as well when removing marks on the walls. They also used the mid-grade product when we had requested the high end label from Benjamin Moore. There were also many places (typically corners where there was casing) where the paint splattered (very fine micro drops) onto the new wood floor. This was not cleaned up, although we requested it be cleaned twice. Outside, they pressure cleaned, patched and then painted and generally did a good job. However, they pressure cleaned two walls of a cottage in the backyard and then did not paint it because they said it was not in the original quote. We thought it was included, and the amount of painting was really quite minimal compared to the entire job. Similarly, there was a small gate in the courtyard which they later said would be an extra $150 to paint which we had thought it was included. I was incredulous and told the salesman that it was silly to tack that amount onto a $10k job, especially given how much business we had given them in the past. He relented and waived the charge, but that indicates to us that their customer service focus has waned. The upshot; I give them the benefit of the doubt that this was not their "A" crew, so the rating is not that low. Given past performance, I think this was just an "off" job. However, in the future, I will spend more time getting competitive offers.

The painting company is very professional. They are responsive and punctual. They always do a good job. I have been using him for ten years.

Work began on the committed date and involved 2 days of preparation plus 2 days of actual painting. Prep work included power washing, scraping, and patching various scars and cracks. Painting included all exterior walls, doors, trim, eaves, etc. Quality of both prep work and painting was very thorough, very neatly done, with attention to detail and no mess was left behind. Their price seemed a little on the high side, but the quality was excellent. Only one minor exception: several telephone and TV cables under the eaves on two sides of the house were pulled down during the painting process, and these were not reattached but left dangling. It took two weeks and two phone calls before they returned with a ladder to reattach the pulled wires.
