Evans Roof

We had Evans Roofing replace our roof in mid 2011. We offered more than original estimate to add best felt paper and commercial grade roof materials to extend protection long term in South Florida heat. To date we have had five repairs done and another needed due to workmanship issues involved with the replacement roof and leaks. Almost all repairs center around the garage area. Neither the owner, nor his “specialist”, can ever find where leaks start until crew arrives on site. Every repair is a battle with excuses. Then after weeks of complaint his crew reports back the description and pics of damage found while on site. We have requested reroofing the garage versus continued patchwork and Thierry has declined. Thierry (owner) is nice and tries to be professional but lacks the ability to help resolve properly and without conflict to the client. He likes excuses and has even suggested on the last repair, “did we expect the roof replacement to be perfect” ?? — yes that’s why we paid your company to replace the roof to new status ! I paid 15 grand to NOT have to deal with roofing issues for many years into the future, and perhaps until long after we've sold the property. Had we known this comment prior to the replacement, we certainly would have gone elsewhere. He also likes to blame the roof design, yet accepted the money/job and never complained until warranty work was required of him. It should be noted main company is Devove US Inc. and Evans Roofing is a DBA he purchased from another family and they are not related. We originally chose Evans Roofing because of Jim Evans, and would not have considered or solicited Devove US Inc and Thierry Devove. We’ve attached pictures of current stains (2) on area that has already seen two repairs from Evans Roofing and was covered with stain blocker as per his company. Stains reappeared and breached past the painted area (pooling effect) after last heavy storms came thru area.
