I had a great experience working with Drain King Plumbing, they replaced my old cast iron pipes at a great price. The team was professional, showed up on time, and got the job done quickly. They explained everything clearly and the new pipes work perfectly. Highly recommend them for any cast iron pipe! 5 stars!

ALERT: I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IS AFTER INSURANCE DOLLARS AND WASN'T CONCERNED ABOUT CORRECTING THE REAL ISSUE. Drain King Plumbing in Pompano Beach came to my house to provide me with an estimate because the land next to the side of my home felt like a sinkhole was forming. Steven McKeehan, owner of Drain King Plumbing, diagnosed me with a leak. He stated that it probably would be an insurable claim. I was clear with him that not everything is an insurable claim and try to prevent an insurance claim. After my comment he ran a “test” on my indoor plumbing and asked my husband and I to leave the room, my kitchen and laundry room ended up flooded and I was forced to call in a restoration company. He called in his recommendation, Restoration 1, because it was 6PM in the evening and he told me it had to be taken care of now (I will do a review for them because their business practices are horrible too). Steven sent me a quote for $50,000 and wanted the 25% deposit of $12,500. His quote was written expressly for an insurance claim. The bill was 97% access and egress which insurance companies are obligated to pay. We didn’t sign his quote because we got a second inspection and estimate. It turns out that Steven misdiagnosed the issue for my house because I don't have an indoor leak (we had one minor leak on the outside plumbing), but a terrible backfill issue underneath our home which isn’t an insurable claim. In addition, if I had Steve do his work and ignored the real issue, my house may have gone underground. After the fact, Steven did try to claim that his manager did the quote and it should have been $23,500. I don’t believe him because he is the one who called and asked for the deposit. If he really believed it shouldn’t have been $50,000, then why did he ask for a 25% deposit at the cost of $12,500. A business man should know that $12,500 is 25% of $50,000 not $23,500. By the way, the reason we contacted this company was because a good friend of our family works for the company and is Steven’s girlfriend.

The men, including Steven, seemed nice enough at first, but the outcome was terrible. We called them for water damage in two of our bedrooms, and they directed us to what was supposed to be a leak in one of our bathrooms, about 15 feet away. After opening up the floor and the walls based on their detection equipment, there was no leak in the bathroom. Infact, our water damage doesn't seem to be for the pipes at all. After my workers contacted them about the spots Dain King marked, they were insulting and unprofessional. Drain King even suggested that my workers verify the location of the leak with an air-compression method when it was obvious that the leak was not where it's workers had indicated. Calling them just ended in a shouting match with a series of unlikely excuses. Drain King even suggested that the nitrogen they put through the pipes could have fixed the leak. The workers at Drain King seemed more interested in opening an insurance claim, which we did not want, than helping us determine if the water damage came from the pipes. I also made the mistake of paying them with cash, with the promise that a receipt would be emailed to me. I still have not received the email. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Went very well. It went much better than i anticipated, especially for being a holiday weekend. Very professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. There is no extra charge for a holiday on Sunday. I am very pleased with the quality of work.

Steven came the same day I reached out to him. He did a great job with the work I needed done. He also checked and tightened up the toilet I installed. My only complaint about this job is that he way over charged me according to the two plumbers I showed his invoice too. One being a neighbor and friend of my neighbor. They both agreed I was grossly overcharged for this job. The plumber I wanted to use contacted me after I had already hired this plumber. I was charged 1,903. And the plumber said his fee would be closer to $800. For the work that was done. For this reason I wouldn’t hire Steven again. I am a senior women and I’m afraid I was taken advantage of.

Very professional. Explained what they were doing, especially on the previous owner. They flushed bunch of crops down the well and pulled some stuff out. Not a messy work, very clean, I can't complain about anything.

Drain King was on time unclogged an issue that we were having for a couple years. They came when promised and did the work fast and they were very professional. I would highly recommend this company for any and all your plumbing needs. They explained what was the problem and how they were going to fix the issue. Great company
