My wife was really happy with the recent service. She figured as it was a holiday, and Christmas was a few days away, that we were doomed not to have TV in the great room until well into the new year. She was both pleased and impressed that Quality TV didn’t just blow us off; but was actually here in the house fixing our TV two days before Christmas. Where else are you going to find that kind of service.

They kept the TV for a month. They would not give us an estimate for the repair until it was complete. They claimed they got defective parts twice, and each time had to wait for the parts to be delivered, they did not keep them in stock. They refused to have the part overnights and absorb the cost, even after keeping the TV fir an unreasonable amount of time.

Mike came out first and did a free estimate. Not knowing what he would encounter when he went into the attic, he estimated an entire day of work. When he actually did the work, he worked so fast and so efficiently that He was able to finish in about 3/4 the time, saving me several hundred dollars. I have had a home theater in the past and had some definite opinions about placement and how I wanted things to look. Mike respected all my choices and actually agreed with me on most of my plan. Advice that he rendered was great and needed since I am not an expert in these things. When it came time to run wiring for the projector and 7 speakers, I was worried because my attic is just a narrow crawl space with a lot of blown-in insulation, no way to easily see the joists, and he had to crawl to the most constricted parts of the attic to reach the walls where the surround speaker wires and the hdmi cable were being routed. He never once complained about the attic conditions, and actually joked as he was working. When it came time to hook up the projector, he spent a lot of time getting the picture accurately sized to my screen...something that is not that simple to do because every time you make an adjustment one way, than something else goes out of whack. The end result was just great. I was missing several speaker brackets but he went ahead and marked their placement location so that I would be able to easily locate the studs. All in all, it was a very good experience and well worth the money.

I was surprised to get a 'following day' appointment for the service call. Appointment was for between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. So of course technician shows up unannounced at 11:30am. Install went rather quickly as antenna was already pre-assembled. Just a matter of 2 U-bolts and 4 wing nuts. Hardest part was running the coaxial cable along the roof line under the facia. Not sure if that is permissible under local code. Previous wires had been attached to the eaves. Seeing as the company is located in Sarasota County one would think they should know what the code is. There was a old antenna attached to the top of a mast and I was wanting that old antenna replaced with the new one. That did not happen. The tech instead mounted it to the mast just above head level, about 12' short of the top. Subsequently the reception isn't as strong as I think it should be. Technician did manage to scan the channels that could be found. I do have quite a few but most are not ones I would normally watch, which include the closest local ones, WWSB and SNN. I prefer the stations out of Tampa/St. Pete. The technician mentioned that the majority of their broadcast stations are in Ruskin. I may be wrong but the antenna is aimed toward Port Charlotte, 180 degrees the opposite direction. I will be calling the antenna manufacturer to verify this.
Other than that the technician was very pleasant and easy to deal with. He stayed a little over the hour he charged me ($79.95) and they did add a "trip" charge ($79.95) as well. (Sorry I couldn't bring my house to you, dude. My bad.)
Overall it was a good experience and I do believe the company does offer good service. I was hoping by installing this antenna that I could replace Verizon Fios. Unfortunately that won't be the case.

The person who sold me Dish didn't go over a paragraph which lets Dish do whatever it wants and there is no way to get out of 2 year contract. I am very disappointed with dish and can't fire them like Comcast. I feel that I was Quality TV responsibility  to at least show the paragraph where Dish can do what ever it want's to. After reading it if I had decided ok then it will be on me. I now hope this will be part of their sales program. Dish has been a total disappointment and I am stuck because of the contract. I now know why they make you sign a contract. Don't be fooled by them

"After talking with [Member Name] regarding his concern, we have been in contact with Dish as they provide the On Demand content. [Member Name] was not happy due to them not having the show he likes. Dish said not every provider carries the same on demand content but they do review request from customers to provide the most requested shows and at this time the show or shows [Member Name] was requesting were not on. In the future this could be available but there is no set date as to when this would happen. I did talk with [Member Name] and explained we try to give as much information as we can as to the many great features, pricing and services Dish gives over other providers. This is the first time we have had an issue with a customer that was not happy with the On Demand programming. In most cases a customer will ask us about certain things or programming, as they want to make sure they are getting a channel or channels they are concerned about. We would research that channel, if we were not familiar with it, to make sure the customer was getting what they wanted. In this case, after talking with [Member Name] he assumed he was going to get the same On Demand content as he had before, and since we never talked about what On Demand programming was available, it was not something we went into in detail on. Had this come up we would have been able to address this concern to make sure the On Demand content [Member Name] was looking for would be there. Dish does require a 2 year contract when providing free equipment, installation, and promotional offers just like other providers do. I understand [Member Name] now wishes he read the contract more closely after the fact due to this problem, as there are cancellation charges if the contract is broken like most contracts that provide these things. I would be happy, if Dish has not already done so, issue some discounts on his bill due to this unfortunate situation. We, of course will always do what we can to help anyway we can when there is a situation or misunderstanding like this that occurs."

He showed up early, was very quiet and does not say much. He comes in ask what is going on and where it is, and he looks at it and honestly tells you the problem and the cost. His prices are fair and he does a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone.
