We Offer complete bathroom and Kitchen Remodels However we Don’t touch plumbing lines or are high voltage electrical lines. If that’s needed we have close associates with the other required licenses attend to those specific aspects while Our part is in the designing and building of a project. We also can build custom outdoor bars, or kitchens, or custom closets or turning your garage into a fitness room or man cave / She Shacks! With all that said we do A-LOT of small things that are considered HANDYMAN SERVICES. This would be things like hanging pictures or curtain rod installations or furniture assembly. Also things like small drywall repairs or Flatscreen TV wall hangings is a common project we are called to do. There are so many projects. So Sarasota County is very clear on what kind of projects we are allowed to work on. They were nice enough to provide us with little cheat sheets so that we know what is OK. so a quick answer would be that We don’t do Plumbing or High voltage electrical because for those kinds of projects, you need to hire an electrician or a plumber. We also can’t do projects that require us to alter the exterior or structural aspects of your Home as you would need to have a engineer draw plans for those kinds of things and then those plans are given to a licensed contractor and then there’s a process for having scheduled inspections by the county or city inspector as the project progresses to ensure that all building codes are being followed. Now if you ever did want to do a project like for example turning a back porch, screened in lanai into a enclosed room you could do this on your own and you can hire whoever you want. However, you would have to pull the permits and you also would have to be present at the home while all the work is being completed Again this is only for projects where you are planning on adding or taking from the structure of the Home.
